Wait till you see the piece I've been working on for 20+ hours.. my best coloring job by far. Probably will have it up by Sunday.

There is no sun in Depresso-world.
It is kind of like being attacked by your own mind.
I shiver just typing this.
Hell is not someplace you go when you die. Hell is Depresso-world. It's not the place your parents warned you about. They didn't see it coming either.
In Depresso-world, every day is the worst day of the week.
I would know. Depresso-world has kicked my ass before.

Oh, 50,000 words would be a little difficult, but I think I could manage. Of course, It's not about MUCH you write, but rather how much is in the words you have written. YAY DEEP AND MEANINGFUL STATEMENTS!

I could do it, but I would feel horrible knowing how much crap probably just spewed from my pencil and keyboard. Then I'd spend all of december compressing and expanding and correcting text. I would be a busy little bumblebee. As if my sisnature didn't well enough, I LOATHE TWILIGHT WITHIN EVERY INCH OF MY SOUL. ITS STENCH PENETRATES MY OLFACTORY GLANDS AND TWIST MY MOUTH INTO A DISGUSTING GRIMACE. I LONG TO FORGET THE PAIN THIS VILE TRASH HAS WROUGHT WITHIN ME, ITS IMPRINT IS EVERLASTING; LIKE THE VICE GRIP OF A VULTURE ON A BEING TO WEAK TO GO ON. TWILIGHT TEARS MY FLESH DEEPER AND DEEPER WITH EVERY NEW FAN THAT TURNS TO SHARPEN THE VULTURE'S CLAWS. FOR NOW, I SHALL WRITHE IN AGONY, BUT EVENTUALLY THIS FIEND SHALL MOLT AND DIE. IT SHALL FADE AND THE GOLDEN PHEONIXES OF LITERATURE SHALL RETURN TO THEIR TEMPLE TO BE PRAISED ONCE MORE. PERHAPS, ONE DAY, ONLY THOSE MARVELOUS PHEONIXES WILL RULE THE TEMPLE OF POPULAR LITERATURE. How's that for writing practice?

Hehe.. nice... I dislike Twilight a lot also, for many many reasons.. I love the look on some girls' faces when I tell them I don't like it. Unfortunately, our society's becoming less and less enthused by books, or rather, the whole idea of actually thinking so I'm not sure if the classics will live again. :/

I don't believe I have read it. Was it really badly written or something?

No.. it's a dystopia novel, and concerns a society where burning books and just generally despising them is common. Instead, people are so shallow and brainwashed by things called Parlor Walls and Seashells (which are, I've heard, a bit like bluetooths) and entertainment, that if you do any "casual" socializing outside of those things, you're seen as antisocial (for example, talking to people face to face). It's really good..

We had to read Great Expectations for 9th grade summer work. It's was painfully slow while I was reading it. I'm sure I would like it better the second time around, but I truly do NOT want to read it again, no matter how cool Mrs. Zorn was.

Mrs. Zorn was old, short, and fat. Both her and my current lit. teacher are much more into the symbolism and things in "good stories" rather than the things that make "good writing". They enjoyed Twilight. Of course, next year will be Mr. Davis, the AP teacher. He's much more concerned with "good writing". He'll be hell, but I don't think he'll like Twilight.

Our teacher is a Kickass Grandma. ^^ I don't think she likes Twilight much.. and of course, my mom has a degree in lit, so she doesn't want me to read anything other than classics..

My mom encouraged me to read Stephen King(her favorite) since I was about ten. We also have a book full of stuff from Plato and Aristotle and some other Greek philosophers. Must be cool to have someone with a college degree to help with your homework. My parents are intelligent, but they have no clue how to help me with my homework. I usually end up teaching my dad about something I barely understand(though it does help me organize the information to tell it to someone else).
