Description ....literally.

SO FINALLY THE ART BLOCK ENDS! 8D I read that it was the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War this year, so I was all inspired to do this! 8D I have to say, I'm really pleased with how the flags in the background look!
I'll probably be doing another pic on this same topic...I forgot how interesting the civil war was XD It was the last thing we studied in social studies last year in school and I really liked it :'D
Poor Alfred though D: I can't decide if I like civil war Alfred better as two separate characters, or just Alfred with a split personality...hmmm..

I'm thinking of being "Confederate America" for an anime convention. Β I always think that America has a 2nd brother, but he never thinks of him. Β I also named "Confederate"; "Davis Lee Jones", after Jefferson Davis and Robert E. Lee.

Ohh, a Confederate America cosplay would be really interesting! I'd just be a bit careful if I were you, some people might not take to it too well
I think of him as a part of America that split off within him, physically manifesting after the states really started to secede. Its one of the most interesting time periods to me personally eheh..

I can't get over the fact that Alfred is America and Arthur is England. In my opinion, it should be the other way around...
Either way, this is a great depiction of a normally carefree character going through one of the worst events in his history.

This was the saddest and worst time of US history. More men died in the Civil War than any other American conflict.
