OU's ground type attacking monster. whole groups of lower tier mons fall at the claws of this absolute BEAST of a mon.

Mold breaker can chump abilities, earthquake or drill to bury fire, steel and rock types, steel to skewer fairies. this mon tears through most threats. Him, Hippowdown and Tyranitar are seen on sand teams together. for Sand rush and force abilities. If you powelel a drilbur early agaisnt Elesa, it should be easy to chump her Emolgas.

In GO, its your go-to ground type user with Mud-slap for fast special move use of Rock Slide to get the drop on the enemy mons.

The big bad mole, one of my favorites. This exemplifies the eternal appeal of Pokemon to me. It's both cute and cool. And effective.

Ah... Excadrill. A decent line though I seldom use it.

I have to wonder why some people reported having problems with Clay's Excadrill. Wasn't too hard for me.

It's a good thing evolution in Pokémon is more or less an instant transformation.  Could you imagine how painful it would've been for Drilbur to grow a giant metal spike from his back over the course of months?
