hey she wants to make things go Boom, give her a backpak full of explosives that look like normal magic stuff and say that it is part of her training to hull it to a big X in the forest then make her go Boom and say it was a training "accident"

Maybe Marisa can keep her busy with a plausible yet highly difficult assignment? She can send Lilina off with a list of "spell components" she has to get before Marisa will teach her anything. Wing feather of a nuclear-powered hell raven, the liver of an immortal, a sunflower from Mugenkan, etc.

Best case scenario, Lilina dies in the process. Moderate case she simply fails, which gives Marisa the excuse to refuse to teach her. In the worst case scenario Lilina succeeds, but at least Marisa will have a bunch of new material for spell experiments and the means to become immortal.

Yukari would help her succeed.

Mind-Fracture In reply to SagashiIndustries [2010-03-12 18:27:30 +0000 UTC]

Which is why Marisa might as well profit from the situation. That and with the Hourai Elixir Marisa just has to wait it out. Lilina has to die sometime.

SagashiIndustries In reply to Mind-Fracture [2010-03-12 18:43:45 +0000 UTC]

Or Yukari could fix that.

Mind-Fracture In reply to SagashiIndustries [2010-03-12 18:48:01 +0000 UTC]

Which would make the comic even funnier. Marisa just can't win.

Lilina: Mom made me immortal too! Isn't this great? We can be together forever!
Marisa: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Indeed. Then Mokou pats her on the back and takes her drinking.

Might as well drink till their hearts stop. Not like they'll stay dead or anything.

SagashiIndustries In reply to Mind-Fracture [2010-03-12 19:04:56 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, Alice could then take some Hourai Elixir herself. Or alternatively, Marisa X Mokou pairing.

Mind-Fracture In reply to SagashiIndustries [2010-03-12 19:12:02 +0000 UTC]

That would make an interesting pairing. One became an immortal to follow her enemy into eternity and the other became immortal to outlast hers.

SagashiIndustries In reply to Mind-Fracture [2010-03-12 19:17:45 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, so should Alice make it a threesome or find someone else to pair with?

Mind-Fracture In reply to SagashiIndustries [2010-03-12 19:49:39 +0000 UTC]

It all depends on how much she wants Marisa. She wouldn't even have to use the Hourai Elixir. She just has to ask mom for help. I have this funny image of Shinki agreeing just for the sake of lots of grandchildren to spoil for eternity.

SagashiIndustries In reply to Mind-Fracture [2010-03-12 19:51:22 +0000 UTC]

Heh, It would still end up a three or foursome, though. Depending on if Keine joins or not.

Mind-Fracture In reply to SagashiIndustries [2010-03-12 20:14:16 +0000 UTC]

Three is company. Four is a harem.

Harems are fine.

Mind-Fracture In reply to SagashiIndustries [2010-03-12 20:39:22 +0000 UTC]

Yes. Yes they are.

Although eventually the earth would be a dead rock and they'd still be alive. At that point they'd just use Keine's history-hax to go back in time to the good old days of spellcards and incidents. Ha! What if this already happened? All of Gensokyo's incidents could have been masterminded by four very old and bored immortals!

Don't you mean 6? Lilina and Kaguya, after all.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mind-Fracture In reply to SagashiIndustries [2010-03-12 21:02:33 +0000 UTC]

Good point. Although I imagine none of them would want to join in on Kaguya and Mokou's "alone time". Whatever those two get up to, it would probably disturb Tenshi.

Actually, this could end up like the Time Loops from the Fanfiction Forums. They're immortal but the world isn't. Every time it dies they just loop back and relive their lives in a different way. Heck, Gensokyo could have been a PEACEFUL place in the first loop. The girl's personalities could be radically different than they were during their first "life". Marisa could be a thief just to piss people off this loop. Kaguya and Mokou's "rivalry" could simply be a way to hide their masochistic tendencies. Even Alice's obsession with creating an independent doll could simply be a hobby for this loop. This could even explain Gensokyo's odd timeline between PC98 and Windows. It all makes sense!

But it makes so much sense. Marisa, Yukari, Alice, Mokou, Keine, and Kaguya controlling the timeline of earth. Beats the grimdark garbage of the Warhammer Chaos Gods any day.

Has it ever been confirmed is SHE drank the elixir or not? I think she may have.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

WatcherCCG In reply to SagashiIndustries [2010-03-12 22:02:28 +0000 UTC]

At the time of canon, she hasn't. The fact that she DIDN'T drink it is why she wasn't exiled with Kaguya. Later on, however... who knows.

SagashiIndustries In reply to WatcherCCG [2010-03-12 22:03:22 +0000 UTC]

I thought she had. weird.

WatcherCCG In reply to SagashiIndustries [2010-03-12 22:06:12 +0000 UTC]

No. She made the elixir, and that's why she was punished. But to my knowledge, she never drank it. However, it's possible she drank it when she went to become Kaguya's guardian.

Eirin has referred to herself as an immortal.

Because Lunarians are naturally ageless. They don't die unless something kills them.

Reimu's advice is not quite sound. Killing Lilina would be like killing Chen: the last goddamn mistaken you'll ever make in your now utterly wasted life. Yukari loves her little family to death. No way she'd let Marisa get away with murder.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SagashiIndustries In reply to WatcherCCG [2010-03-12 14:37:23 +0000 UTC]

Mima's response is just because she hates the Yakumos, anyway. Reimu does NOT want to put up with another one as she's annoyed by the ones already around.

WatcherCCG In reply to SagashiIndustries [2010-03-12 14:53:09 +0000 UTC]

Even little Chen? She normally just acts cute unless someone puts a condemned criminal in front of her?

Yukari needs to lock herself in the shrine with Reimu and a good, long while working all that girls tension out.

Problem is she's usually paired with Ran and has no interest in Reimu.

SagashiIndustries In reply to WatcherCCG [2010-03-12 15:06:48 +0000 UTC]

I don't usually play Reimu's story, so I don't pay much attention to her canon.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

WatcherCCG In reply to SagashiIndustries [2010-03-12 15:11:31 +0000 UTC]

That explains it. Yukari likes to tease Reimu constantly during endings from PCB onward. Many have compared it to outright flirting.
