Goodness! It's changed oh so much. I do however hope to see you around (: May message you on here about another matter, if that's alright.

that's a pretty interesting species concept. :3
i really like elaborated designs like this, it shows that you've thought about the featrues you gave them. 8D
it's sad that a lot of ppl add e.g. a feathered crest only for the purpose of having something that makes their character look good. that's really something i find weird because there's nothing that has a real function, even though it's fantasy, i don't really like those stuff. xD
nyah, well done, great concept! ^__^

Great job on this. I favorited it the other day but just now got around to leaving a comment. I love the teeth on it, i can just see one latching on to the neck of a fleeing hypsilophodeer ( or whatever strange hybrid prey exists in its world) and delivering a slashing throat bite in the manner of a saber-toothed cat. the big canines and face shield also give it a cool, slightly mandrill-esque quality as well. The attention to detail paid to the anatomy is excellent overall. Do you do these on the computer? I'd like a drawing program a bit better and more versatile then the MSPaint I use right now, any recommendations?

The Dromeus Dog is a really awesome critter. The design is totally kick-ass and believable, and I -love- how you've drawn the hind-legs.
Great reference sheet too. :>

Oh, these are just fab!
I really adore the fleshy facial shield on these guys. Particularly how its color will vary depending on mood. To be honest, when I first looked at it, I was reminded of a cere, and assumed it would denote the sex of the dog. Silly me!
Are these guys intended for a specific environment? Looking at the slender legs and long ears, I can't help but think they'd be nifty in a desert area. Or maybe the fleshy hooves just make me think of camels. Hooray for association? Hm. Since their hips are similar to dromeasaurs, can they not bend their hind legs very far back? Do they have a super-flexy cheetah spine to compensate? Am I asking too many questions? ... Probably so XD
Once again, super neat critter here XD

It's a bit like a cere, but no sexual dimorphism ^^
I was thinking arid mountains, a lot like the Rockies and plains...like I tend to, haha. I based the hooves mostly on big horn sheep. And yes! I imagine a super flexible spine like a cheetah, but no limitations on the leg movement like in dromaeosaurs. It's a lot like a dromaeosaur hip, but not exactly alike. I really should do a skeletal!
I love these types of questions! And thanks Nash!!

I thought about that, but the "shield" isn't all that big. It just breaks up the wind, it doesn't cover the eyes.

If you have a wolfhome account, you can nab one over there. If not, I will hopefully be selling custom ones in the near future ^^
