awesome painting, inspired on a guira cuckoo, right? they're amazing birds, it's so cool watch they hunting on the grass, as they're so organized, well, until one of them find a prey,generally a grasshopper or a spider, them they will fight each other for a piece. really,really cool birds

When you see those cute little robins and cardinals pecking and scratching for insects outside your window after the snow has just fallen, you think, "D'awwww. Look how purdy they are." Not once would you think in that moment that those cute little burdies could be...cute little eat-your-face dinosaurs.

Interestingly, this is probably one of the more accurate Archaeopteryx illustrations I've seen.
The anima most likely resembled a modern bird, poofiness and all, far more than it did a fuzzy lizard like many people draw it.

Yous looks far more like "birdy." Paul's recostruction looks much more like a winged theropod.
Of course, technically Archaopteryx is a winged theropod . . . .

True, but while Paul's looks like a fine museum reconstruction, yours looks to me like I could see it at my bird feeder, at a quarter natural size, of course!
