They did this poor girl DEAD wrong in season 3.

So as you may already know, I shelved Sadistic Passion (My Original Series) due to personal reasons but I have decided to try to substitute one of my other projects in place of it. So I have revisited my matured re-imagining of the popular series, Miraculous Ladybug. Miraculous: Serendipity and Destruction. For my take of Adrien, I made her drastically different from her canon counterpart. I just found the Mary-Sue treatment distasteful and otherwise aggrivating. I feel like Thomas has NEVER spoken to an actual teenage girl in his life. But for Marinette, I wanted to go for a simple version of her PV design in the terms of her civillian wear, with shorts, a hoodie, and a red polka dotted t-shirt to make her more of a "normal girl". I even gave her a slightly tanner complexion and a more angled face to make her asian features more evident. I also made her hair completely black because I just have to call bullshit on "blue reflections" because that's just not realistic. (I literally thought she dyed her hair when I first watched the show) and I even added grey eyes in her normal wear instead of bluebell because I feel like that fits her better and it was originally used in her earlier 3D design.

As for her Ladybug counterpart, I inspired her attire heavily from one of the alternate PV designs and gave it a little flair than just a simple onesie. I even decided to let her hair down and give it a blue-ish dark violet ombre with red tips at the end which again, was apart of the earlier concepts of her 3D designs. I also found the black detailing suitable and wondered why they couldn't go for something like that. But I'm proud of the result as it makes her less identifiable. I included the idea of retractable wings with string hoops attatched to the ends to help her glide through the streets of Paris, which she will have quite a humorous ride trying to achieve. I thought using wings fit the Ladybug traits as they're supposed to have wings to begin with. I will still include the Yo-Yo but more as a weapon or for purification purposes whereas the magic from her wings will attract the lucky charm instead. Another trait borrowed from her earlier plans is that if/when she uses her abilities for selfish needs, they come back to BITE her as the Ladybug Miraculous is only meant for the greater good. I also used her blue eyes for her alter ego to make her less identifiable. I figured adding a Prosopagnosia effect to the Miraculi would be a more scientific and logical explaination on why people would have difficulty recognizing the users in their regular attire. I based that concept from a theory by the Miraculous YouTuber, yami, where she talked about different theories on why people in France don't recognize Ladybug and Chat Noir.

"Is there truly good in all of us?"

A black sheep (Marinette Dupain-Cheng) and a Diamond in the Rough (Adrien Agreste). Two teenagers of different backgrounds sharing fairly comparable issues, both given an unusual opportunity to transform into majestically powerful superheroes: resembleing a ladybug and the black cat: in order to rescue their fellow Parisians from temporarily -- and demonically --- possessed super-villains, controlled by the deranged ringmaster known as "The Monarch". In the midst of this, the children's lives will intersect. Secrets will be revealed, friends will be made, a forbidden romance will blossom, lives will be lost and enemies will be made in this disturbingly aesthetically beautiful re-imagining of the worldwide cultural phenomenon.

Miraculous: Serendipity and Destruction - 1x01 "Awakening"

"Serendipity and Destruction" is a darker reimagining of the cultural phenomenon created by Thomas Astruc. The series is loosely inspired from the earlier concepts of the series (PV and Mini Menace) as well as taking inspiration from other similar media such as Spider-Man: Homecoming, Teen Titans and Suicide Squad, but within the civilian lives of our animal based heroines as well as the idea of fashion, I inspire from exploitation films such as "The Neon Demon"

The plot is fairly similar to the original series, with a socially awkward Marinette Dupain-Cheng trying to balance herself through her senior year due to her bullied while being neglected and shamed by her parents due to her accident-prone nature. Meanwhile, after the mysterious disappearance of his mother, the oppression of Adrien's forced career in order to support his father's famous company strengthens to the point where his mental and emotional stability begins to decrease. But as if god answered their prayers, they are both gifted the jewels of the Miraculous, Earrings of the Ladybug and the Ring of the Black Cat: and they will be put to the test through challenging akuma victims and criminals in the lovely city of Paris, France. Unfortunately, things will only get more intense for the two heroines.

The social commentary speaks about the dark truth of the Fashion industry: as Marinette finds a new love for clothing, marketing or interior designing, she sadly doesn't know the morbid sincerity that Adrien suffers the seemingly endless mis-employment by many fashion moguls in France, including his own father: Gabriel Agreste.
