Happy Birth--uh-Earth Day to me! all!
Today's PNF-404 Day! 
I opted against having a BG, seemed distracting.
It's a bit rushed, and then I realized too late how this looks TOO much like another Japanese fan art, 
except that one is much better. XD;; Accidental plagiarism on my end? 
In my defense, I love this expression on him very much. It's very serene, and comforting. >///u///<

Aw, cute little Olimar huging his three little pikmin.
The Yellow one's like: "I love you and will never let you go buddy."
The Blue is like: "Hey, where's my hug, I want one!"
And lasty, Red wants a a hug to, but is keeping the look out for the enemies so none will come out and attack them, eat them, or most importantly, ruin this amazing scene and moment.
And funny, I'm playing Pikmin right now!
Love the shading on them, and I love the way you make Olimar, he just looks so cute and inoccent! Same chould be same for the pikmin as well!

Right now, I'm playing Pkmin 3! And I must say, it is such a blast to play, much of step up from the past games. It looks pretty and fun. My little sis love playing it with me as well, and kick my butt in battle, haha!

Aww, Olimar is such a father figure to the pikmin.
He cares for them very much especially since he helps protects them as they have helped him home before Olimar ran out of oxygen.
I agree that his expression is my very comforting, along with a gentle cuddle he is giving them...too adorable! ^///^

I cringe and grimace every FLIPPING time when people refer to Olimar and the Pikmin's relationship as tyrant and slave. :smocking: I mean, I really want to help illustrate the far brighter side of it, like here. A lot of the little extras which highlight their relationship were taken out of the game... :\ (i.e. The Pikmin singing Ai no Uta to Olimar, and him vice versa in another song, and even the final voyage log from the first game....)

If Olimar would be such a tyrant, he would invade the alien planet and use the Pikmin in order to scavage the area for his benefit. >
Clearly you know what was the plan for Olimar in Pikmin 1 & 2. Besides that, if people were to fully understand, the Pikmin agreed to help as Olimar meant no harm, but that's just my deep thinking behind Pikmin. I never have completed the Pikmin games but I can understand what you are trying to say. C:
