Sephiroth thinks a lady named jenova is his mother. he thinks mother should have ruled the world. but jenova is actually a calamity the fell from the sky a long time ago. Sephiroth was injected with jenova cells when he was in his actual mother's womb so he is uber powerful. Jenova was a powerful creature thing. It helps if you watch the movie. makes more sense. or play the video game. the movie is all CG so it's breath taking.

you can buy the movie called final fantasy VII advent children, on dvd. but the full version is final fantasy VII advent children complete, and you can only buy it on blue ray. I'm royally disappointed in the dvd version. I recommend watching the blue ray version, but alas you need a blue ray player. so if you'd like the link to watch it online, i can send you it and you can watch the complete version.

well there is another final fantasy movie. it has nothing to do with the FF VII movie but its really good.

Final Fantasy is a series. 1-13. but every one of the games is a different story line. none of the games have anything to do with the other. there are several branch offs however when one story line proved to be particularly interesting. Like final fantasy VII. The story of FF VII was so famous that they made a movie as it's sequel called final fantasy VII advent children. (which you watched) then they made another sequel that takes place after the movie called Final Fantasy VII dirge of cerberus. then the story was so well liked that a prequel came out called Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core. And there was a Cell phone game that was also part of the story called before crisis. then they made a anime short film called Last Order. But anyway, They were all final fantasy VII.
The movie that i was telling you about is called Final Fantasy the spirits within. It is a separate movie that just happened to be made by the makers of the final fantasy franchise and it has to do with the same basic concept. That being the planet has a spirit or a life stream. The Spirits within movie also is in CG. it is really neat.

here is the link to the final fantasy spirits within movie. Its the first 9 minutes on youtube. it took me a while to find. The whole movie is cut up into ten pats. I think you should be able to find the different sections.
