I really wanted to do a fan art piece and I LOVED Fantastic Beasts (had to solidly use a reference though). Might try to draw Niffler a few more times since I just love the fella to bits I'll be able to draw him in my own posing soonish?Fur is bloomin difficult D;

I think you did really well on the fur and the face too. I also like how the light is thrown at him from behind. Makes him look like a criminal who just got caught in the act, haha.
The only thing that is a little off to me is the coins and rings lying on the table. They look extremely flat in comparison to him. Now I cant even really tell why that's the case but maybe a little harder shadowing would have been good there? While the shadow they throw on the table might be a little too solid then and makes them look a bit like they are floating? I'm not really sure tho. Very helpful I know /D

Yeah I didn't shade the coins all too great, the shading is a bit all over the place with em making it lose the volumetric depth but it's all goods i'll avoid being that lazy with backgrounds hahaha.Β
