"I'm ready for the concert!"

Today's sketch is a result of continuing to push the pose practice from the previous few drawings. For this one I pushed the perspective as well as the limb direction even more than the previous one. The tricky part with these drawings is sometimes figuring out a good theme for them that gives the pose some meaning. In this case I'd been thinking about idol characters recently so that's how this one turned out. I think the idol costume could have been more complex but I was pretty focused on the pose this time so I didn't have as much energy to spend at the end on costume details.

I feel like drawing the shadows on the "ground" helped to ground the pose a bit and I like how it resulted in solidifying the perspective as well.
