A/N: The relation to recent matters is entirely coincidental. I just wanted to choose another Germanic name past the usual "Greta" or "Hilda". Buckle up, cause Gisele has a pretty messed up and dark backstory, and she is an antagonist.

CV: Megumi Han (Gon Freeccs from Hunter X Hunter, Akko Kagari from Little Witch Academia, Glass from Shield Hero, Penny Polendina from RWBY Ice Queendom, among others)

Gisele's "transformation" (for lack of a better term) is partly due to the machinations and ambitions of a certain archangel named Metatron. Saying he was upset over being snubbed as the leader of the angels would be an understatement, and Metatron had been working behind the scenes to build up his own power base for the day he returns to claim his "rightful" spot as the leader of the angels.

Besides Metatron's own Yarash troops, Metatron also knew his counterparts had an advantage with the Celestial Maidens, a rare angel-human hybrid capable of feats beyond measure. However, as none of the Maidens fell under his charge, he had to create an artificial one, and this was how he stumbled upon a young Lotharingian girl named Gisele.

Gisele's upbringing is pretty plain, to say the least. She was not part of any noble family, but blessed with magic potential that Metatron wanted. Gisele was only 13 when she was reported missing, having just mysteriously vanished. In truth, Yarash agents kidnapped her and brought her to Occidenia, Metatron's power base, which is actually a violation of the whole "non-interference" clause imposed on angels. Since then, Metatron had been carefully crafting Gisele into his own personal weapon. Tampering with memories has always been a taboo, but Metatron cares little if it leads to him getting his way. Despite being a "lowly human", Metatron superficially treats Gisele as a father figure, and Gisele has authority over his Yarash troops. As the power of the Maidens slowly awaken, Metatron knew it was almost time to make his move.

Gisele's powers and abilities are unknown, but given how she was personally mentored and crafted by Metatron in his image, it is safe to say she is handy with a polearm. Thanks to memory manipulation on Metatron's part, Gisele is fiercely loyal to him. Needless to say, dissing Metatron is an easy way to rile her up, and provoke her wrath. Given Metatron's light affinity, you can expect Gisele to be a very tanky fighter, since shields and strength magic are the fundamentals of Orbian light magic.

I envision Gisele as a late game boss, similar to a certain Childe from Genshin Impact. What you see here is her "base" form. I do not have her "superboss" form right now, but you know she will be a pain to fight with all the shields she can stack up.
