Description
Shifting gears towards the other side of the Project: Valkyries conflict. The wolfkin are getting some focus this time, so you know who you will be fighting with or against, based on your chosen side.

For the sake of simplicity, these troop types will just be shortened to Seekers from this point on.

WOLFKIN SEEKERS

Seekers serves as the primary frontline infantry units of the Wolfkin. Thanks in part to their canine DNA, Seekers are more than a match for an average baseline human, allowing them to close the distance and strike them down in melee. Fitting for their canine roots, Seekers are named cause of their ability to seek out enemies in a fight, given their sensitive sense of smell.

Wolfkin do live in some form of tribal society, and given the dangers faced in the Outer Sphere, wolfkin youth are generally a hardy stock. Seekers usually comprise the warriors of a wolfkin tribe, many who are young and eager to prove their worth to the xenos known as the Collective, especially if it involves fighting the Consortium, which the wolfkin has a massive grudge against. As a way to twist the proverbial knife, the wolfkin chose plasma weaponry as their primary weapon of choice, since both the ESA and Consortium have tried and failed to produce plasma weapons that do not involve blowing up in their faces.

Seekers often fight in groups of 8 to 10, and are led by an Alpha. As Seeker ranks comprise of youngsters who are not yet fully in sync with their feral side, they are therefore not permitted to transform, not even with a psychic nearby. With their penchant for melee weapons, it is no surprise a Seeker will be armed with plasma melee weapons. Due to tribal affinities, it is possible to notice differences between Seeker packs just from weapons loadout. For instance, Frost clan Seekers prefer the hand axe and shield combination to reflect their Nordic ancestry, while Bori clan Seekers prefer dual plasma claws.
