Description I doubt I need to draw anything "epic" to discuss lore, right? "Discipline" is Orbia's term for a subclass within a class, so in future, mention of character disciplines means a subclass.

ROGUE DISCIPLINES
Pictured on the left is Keawe, a Keenblade. Pictured on the right is Lia, a Fistfighter. Both are disciplines of the Rogue class.

KEENBLADE
Keenblades are a strange type of rogue. Instead of evading incoming attacks, Keenblades not only try to face it head on, but also attempt to parry it away. The "keen" in "keenblade" comes from the eyes, being able to read the trajectory and amount of force of an incoming attack to meet it. If successful, Keenblades may also follow up with an attack of their own, either to punish their attacker or put some distance away before another inevitable attack. It is strange to call a rogue a tank, but a Keenblade can do just that. Keenblades favor small arms like knives or gauntlets, preferably with an attached blade for added reach.

Notable Keenblades: Keawe, Mansur

FISTFIGHTER
Fistfighters fully embrace the "glass cannon" archetype by going all out on attack, sacrificing defense (and sometimes speed) just to deliver a knockout blow before anyone can strike back. Unlike Keenblades, whose discipline favors patience and timing, Fistfighters hone their bodies into a living weapon, using their limbs to not only strike out, but also as an extension for elemental powers, with fire, ice, and thunder being very prevalent. Getting into the right stance is key, though in actual gameplay, this is not a crucial factor. Fistfighters generally do not use bladed weapons, preferring something that will cover their fists, such as tape or gauntlets.

Notable Fistfighters: Lia, Lai-Ping, Orsolya
