Kind of a rework here, for characters whose ages (lore-wise) are showing. Plus, with other influences seeping in, you know this was coming.

MECATL
CV: Toshiki Masuda (Eijiro Kirishima from My Hero Academia, Stan from Granblue Fantasy, Erik from Dragalia Lost, Mandricardo from Fate/Grand Order, among others)

Mecatl is the younger son of a Xilian tribal chieftain. Compared to his older brother Icyonotl, Mecatl is pretty much the "scrawny" boy, given their age difference and personalities. Nonetheless, both brothers remain close, and Mecatl is more than willing to support Icyonotl when he takes over as the chief.

Mecatl is the "brains" to his brother's "brawn". Icyonotl has noted that Mecatl has a very analytical mind, and is much faster to pick up anything he finds amiss. That being said, Mecatl has been noted to be a little too inquisitive, which can land him in hot water at times, especially if he probes too close into secrets. As a youth, Mecatl admitted to being a bit of a rebel, and only stopped after getting some sense beaten into him, literally as he stated.

Mecatl has a bit of a quirk, which can only be described as how "manly" something is, usually how much strength is on display. Growing up in a continent known for its "survival of the fittest" beliefs, it actually makes sense. The funny thing is that Mecatl sometimes also applies this "manly" label to females, especially strong ones. In fact, Mecatl's greatest wish is to find the "manliest" Xilian woman, and bring her home with him (marriage, in the abridged version).

In combat, Mecatl has knowledge in applying fire magics, and like most Occidental fighting styles, prefer simple applications than big, flashy spells that require a lot of incantation or setup. Kind of like Lia, Mecatl uses fist strikes and kicks as a way to tap into his fire-based powers, but unlike Lia, who focuses on agility, Mecatl is very much a "power hitter" type (think Heizou from Genshin, but with fire instead of wind), fitting of how "manly" he believes fire magics should be applied.

I will put Mecatl as a 4-star Rogue type character, with an emphasis on power-based strikes.

The name "Mecatl" is a unisex name that means "lineage".
