One of my favorite Disney heroines. I mostly like her because she has this attitude where she can be driven to a point where she's no longer afraid to speak her mind after putting up with so much crap; especially when the person dealing the crap is one who never wants to listen to anything that anyone else has to say, right or wrong. I also love peasant-type skirts and white shirts, which reminds me of her outfit. Don't even get me started on jewelry!!
Her tamborine came out just a little darker than I wanted, though. Unlike with paint, it's almost impossible to lighten a dark area with colored pencils.

Esmeralda... which movie was she from? She doesn't look familliar to me, although I haven't seen too many of the newer Disney films, so I can't say I'm too surprised. (Of course, if this is from a newer one... permission to smack me using the slap emote granted.) Regardless, well done! I'll assume you captured her personality perfectly, as you have a great tendancy to do, and say that she looks really spunky. Like in that "I can handle anything, baby" way.
Ain't that the truth about colored pencils... Gah, it's so much of a pain trying to erase colored pencils. That's part of the reason I'm so afraid of them, hehe, but I really do love how colored pencils make art look. Probably either my first or second favorite median.

Oh ok, gotcha. I only saw that movie once or twice, and I can't remember too much about it. Darn shame, too, because it wasn't too bad if I recall correctly and it wasn't a sequel of anything.
Here I was thinking she was from one of the newer movies, like Atlantis or Treasure Planet (those are both Disney, right?). Oh well, that doesn't matter, because it still turned out great!

Actually, I think a sequel was made for this movie, but I haven't seen it nor do I plan to. Disney is kind of irritating me with all of these sequels...
