            I haven't done any solidly finished artwork of these two in a while. Charon got hurt somehow and she's all sad (she's a tad bit of a crybaby sometimes), so Sonic's having a look at her injuries to see how bad they are. She'll be fine. c: She could probably use a few bandages and a little antiseptic, though!

            There's actually a real story behind this. I went out one morning a few months ago to deliver a bill to the mail before the mail carrier came. It was raining that morning -- not very hard, but enough to get everything wet. I unwisely went skipping and running down the sidewalk like a little girl toward the mailbox. No biggie, right? I do that all the time. Well, I somehow took a misstep with my foot. I tripped, and I fell. I didn't slip; I just made a weird move with my foot where it just didn't land on the ground right. BUT, I'm sure the rain didn't help. I didn't hit the ground immediately, so I sorta went forward to try and keep myself from falling. I ultimately ended up getting my hands into the grass and semi-stopping my fall; however, my knee still went straight down on the sidewalk. It only resulted in a small scrape, unlike Charon's injuries here. It did sting and bleed for a bit, though.

        ANYWAY, that led to me getting an idea to draw something like this. Hey, sometimes we take inspiration for ideas from real life, so why not? It seemed kind of cute to draw. Actually, I originally thought of drawing Tails as the hurt one with Sonic instead, because I love their brotherly bond. But Charon kind of took over and won with the idea, pfft. Maybe I'll do something similar to this with other characters some other time. We'll see. This sat around for a few months; then I finally decided to color it last month. I actually don't feel like the coloring on Sonic sucks too bad here either, for once!

          So, let this be a lesson to you: don't go living on the edge by skipping and running while out in the rain, especially not on a road or sidewalk. LOL.
