Poor Charon.... Don't you ever have those times when you wish someone would hold you in their arms tightly, to let you cry on their shoulder for comfort? I know I have. Rather, I just wish that more often I could have someone tell me, "It's all going to be okay. Hang on." I don't care how repetitive it can be; it's still helpful.

This was a result of an old sketch I did in November last year. I was feeling rather depressed at the time, so I drew Charon crying in Sonic's arms. Sometimes I just have to draw my emotions on paper to keep myself sane, along with lots of prayer. I decided to turn it into digital art, and I linearted this about a month or two ago. Since I changed Charon's design a bit, I had to change some things and color it last night. I was in a good mood when I colored this last night. I was planning on posting it soon just because I wanted to--how ironic that something bad happens at that time....

I've actually wished before that Sonic was real so I could talk to him.... I know, it's cheesy; but in the time I'm going through...it's rough. I know that I have Jesus instead, of course. I drawn pictures of myself in Jesus' arms, which is better. :') But I still think this drawing of Sonic and Charon is sweet. Charon is just that kind of desperate girl who is really, really clingy to friends, especially Sonic. He's kind enough to just let her cry on him while he tries to comfort her. But Sonic's also not one to cry, so he's basically just staying quiet while he lets her cry. I never came up for a story behind this work, so depict what happened for yourself.

I do like how Sonic and Charon came out. I'm getting the hang of making tears on Charon, too. As for the background, I couldn't think of anything good to make, so I just threw in some colors. I may change it if I think of anything better. The only problem I really have with this is that Charon's head is kind of large compared to Sonic's, but I don't think it's immediately noticeable.

I guess venting a little really does help. :')
