Palmtree Shore
Route 17 also known as Palmtree Shore is a water route leading to the Victory Road. This scenic route is full of tough trainers waiting to test their skills before challenging the Pokémon League. Rumour has it this place holds some secrets buried deep within the old ruins.

This is absolute perfection. You know I always love your maps, but this one easily became my favourite. It's an intricated labyrinth of caves, ruins and deep water, I look at the map and I see I'd have to follow a certain order to explore all of it. It makes me curious about which cave brings the player to that one ruin, or where you have to dive to resurface in that other area, and so on. It must be very fun and I'm curious about the old ruins. It's such a glorious way to precede the Victory Road, I hope it will be as interesting as this route is.
I have just one thing to point out: i feel like the column at the left of the Victory Road entrance looks non naturall to use as a bridge (love the idea thought). I think it should be broken at its edges, like the ones you can cross in the Dragonspiral Tower.

Thank you Alberto. Initially it was supposed to be a plain water route, but then I thought diving spots would be a nice addition. But it was not enough, because the diving spots' destinations felt lackluster. So I took the inspiration from FireRed and LeafGreen, precisely Tanoby Ruins. I really like what the route turned out to be, I'm gonna add that dark water for unsurfable areas in my other maps as well.
As for the thing you pointed out. The column is not supposed to be a bridge, it just blocks the way like the rocks usually do when surfing.
