It's been way over a year since we started this art trade! Pretty sure Gamma-chan will never want to do another art trade with me after this LAWL. I drew it right away but then the 100 flash project got under way and I soon forgot about it.
Anyways, this scene, whose background I WORKED SO HARD ON, thanks to nika!, takes place when Saori and Deidara discover they could make bigger explosions if Saori set Deidara's clay creations on fire, at her max heat levels. This part of the scene, with the intense staring and the hand grabbing, totally did not happen in the story though. That would have been crossing the line for me. Thus, thats; why you see orange, and that's what Saori's staring at. I really wanted to just leave the drawing as was without the explosion... but I guess it wouldn't have made sense then.
*WhiteGamma , I think you were totally trying to get me killed when you asked for DeiSao. But then again I was also totally trying to get YOU killed when I asked for HidAya. I MEAN COME ON. AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO SEES HIDAN X AYANE WORKING?

lol, no, you pretty much have a very good memory. This was over a year ago! I was done with the bodies for a week, took me forever to be able to get onto coloring the background which itself TOOK AN ETERNITY. I figured. You waited over a year. A week can't hurt

This picture somehow caught me.
I mean it's probably because of my massive Deidara-fangirlness and the fact that he looks actually pretty good in this picture, but I mean... their eyes! Just look at them, they will get you and then you're caught in those looks. I mean, Deidara looks pretty worried at Saori, which is just.... I'm not good enough at speaking to explain it.
I mean, the eyes... it's the first time I can really get into the picture ...

I can't really critique it.Both, Dei-kun and Saisuki-chan look great. Don't get angry, but, in the water, you could have put their reflection from where they are standing.

Aww, thanks! I won't lol, I asked for help! And thank you, I can't believe I forgot that lol. Where would the reflection go though? I thought, maybe just underneath them, like in a circle, but my friend insists the shadow would be behind them, like shadows, and now I'm not really sure...
