Description
The long awaited warrior mermaid! It was a new challenge tackling an underwater scene, but I'm mostly satisfied with the end result. I've spent too long on the armor and still am not pleased with it. I'm most proud of the hands however, but let me know if I can improve in any way!As always, let me know which Disney princess to do next!

People may complain about how "Oh my God, this armor is so impractical", but.....why is this an issue for merfolk? Think about it, unless they were unusually strong, the armor is obviously going to hamper them and weigh them down. They rely on their speed and swimming prowess in order to hunt and battle in the first place, so naturally, they would barely have any armor to begin with, and if they should, it would likely be light weight or even just basic armor that wont be covering their tail.

Exactly. Thank you so much! People like to get riled up for anything so I've given up the need to argue. I'm just trying to stay true to the armor their culture (underwater or otherwise). Agree with you 100% and thank you for spelling it out

Mhm, thanks! I admit, I am a stickler for armor that isnt an impractical sex-fest. The only time I can remotely accept "bikini armor" or something akin to that, is if it were a barbarian tribe or barbarian in general, because they dont wear much armor, and dont even wear many clothes to begin with. With underwater species, I want to bring attention to this race of Merfolk in a game called Battle for Wesnoth. While it unfortunately sticks to gender roles in its lore (I.E., men fight on the front lines and are the physical brutes while women are the support classes), the merfolk do have armored classes, and it brings into question how they can handle wearing heavy armor without some drawback or super strength.

I think it would be cool if you did Auora or even maybe Pocahontas! I like how the armor looks, I think it would of been cool if it was purple since that's her bra color, but I do love this color of armor on her!
