I liked some of the idea given by some of you on my precious work : ) I decided to continue the painting. The idea was that mermaids are born from stone drops, they feed on oranges.I tried to give the adult mermaids slight different features, like the serpents tails and different ears, just to be more various.
-The new born is confused and lose, she's wondering who the other are XD

I love how the attention of the looker automatically goes to the mermaid in the middle because she's a different, brighter color and the other mermaid's eyes are covered. Another fine piece.

They all look the same age to me. Also, I find it awkward that the "newborn" has jewelry on when she has yet to make any real contact with the outside world.

It seems to be like fairies, one being born for every baby's first laugh (if I recall). They emerge from flowers, or other various flora, completely mature but are still technically "newborns".
