I love the texture of the dress! It really sells how thin and gauzy it is--I can actually imagine how if feels to the touch! :0

This person ripped your pose and is attempting sell it as a $15 art print. I just wanted to let you know Saki since I follow your work all of the time.

I was just coming to link the exact same artwork! How the "artist" can claim it's not a ripoff is completely beyond me. I hope it gets taken down; you can't just use/trace someone's artwork without permission, and I can't help but wonder just how many pieces in their gallery have been "referenced" without permission, because Sailor Moon is so clearly copied from this artwork by Nardack ~ www.zerochan.net/1688057

Yo uhhh, you were outted as a tracer like well over a year ago on discord....idk what your doing at this point but alot of people know about it Sigma is being generous by simply saying you referenced without credit

with soo bye felicia!!!
You are more then welcome to see me create when I start posting my youtube videos later this year!!!

It wouldn't be so harsh if you credited what you took inspiration from. There is such a thing as ripping poses, it's called stock pose and photography, you STILL have to credit them if you use them. Models and photographers spend their own time and effort into doing these shots to make their income. No one deserves to use their work for free in the same manner that no artist deserves to have their work profited from unfairly either.
Anything you take direct inspiration from that is not your own, you should get in the habit of crediting because without them, your work would be nothing.
I don't care about Sports Illustrated, I care right now about what you're doing. If you didn't want to get into trouble, you'd properly credit her.
Your picture and her own looks way too similar to just be a common coincidence. And you're the ONLY picture I've seen that looks similar towards her own.

It is. If I made a painting of Starry Night that looked similar towards the original, that would be akin towards me ripping off the original painting of Starry Night. You're using Sports Illustrated as an excuse and scapegoat, instead of making excuse after excuse as to why you don't need to do something, you should just credit her and be done with it. It's not that hard of a thing to do and it costs you literally nothing to do so. You didn't come up with the entire concept or pose for the drawing yourself. It doesn't help that you even used the exact same character as well.
Yes you do. You have to credit Saki's art if she inspired you, it's only fair to HER as the artist of inspiration, if someone used your art as their own inspiration, you would be upset if they claimed that the entire idea was theirs and theirs alone, would you not? If I took ANY of your pieces and referenced the entire concept and sold it for much more than $15, you'd have a right to be upset. And you DID reference her art, you just said so.
I don't understand why you keep making excuse after excuse when all I'm asking is for you to just credit her, lol.

My sister just reminded me of this. It's always refreshing to get an outside perspective.
She said you know that you can draw and I have seen
you draw since you were little. Tell them to ask any of your family they will tell them.
And that was when I realized I don't have to prove anything to you. You don't know me.
Voted most likely to sell a blank canvas for 50,000 USD by my high school classmates.
President of Art Club my Senior Year, Vice President of Anime Club in 2002 when you
didn't even know anime existed. Ran anime club for the now defunct Media Play. Gave
my family 4 x 6 pictures of my art for Christmas the year I didn't have a lot of money
for gifts. Or the year I sold my originals and my sketches at Denver Comic Con to people
because I hadn't finished anything, but was sharing a table.
I had forgot that trolls just want to hate. And so I am done with giving you attention.
But I invite you to follow my youtube channel that's sole purpose when I set it up was
to post videos of me working, and as soon as I have enough money to buy the ring
lights and backdrop I will be posting regularly on there. And that will be proof.

If you can't back up the proof to your words that you used a Sports Illustrated model as your SOLE reference shot more heavily than Saki's own work, then yes, it's YOUR job to prove me wrong. It's not MY JOB to find the proof for you. That's what "burden of proof" is sweetheart. It is YOUR SOLE job to prove me wrong since the burden lies on your own shoulders to convince me otherwise. I am A LOT older than you think I am hun, I was born in 1988. 2002 would mean that I was 17, math ain't hard. Sailor Moon was in the 90's, DBZ was in the 90's. What does that have to do with anything!? Your sister has NOTHING to do with this, your family has NOTHING to do with this, your past has NOTHING to do with what you are doing NOW.
If your first instinct is to freak out, hide all of the comments, including your own because you're afraid others will see that you're lying or caught in the act, then you are cementing....100%...without a fraction of doubt that you're guilty.
I already sent Saki a note and I hope she personally reports your art.
You personally stole the concept from her and now you're running and hiding evidence like the thief you are.

Honey, calling you out isn't abuse. But, yes, I do realize that the truth can hurt a little. Don't lecture others that they don't know who you are, then insinuate things you know nothing either about them. It makes you out to be a hypocrite.
A person who isn't guilty wouldn't get this upset or defensive over it. They'd provide the proof, prove the person wrong, amends would be made, and it would be done.
If you can't take the heat of and consequences of your own actions, then stay out of the kitchen and don't do them. If you're not going to try and prove that you didn't steal the concept from Saki, then I don't have to change my mind, hide, or delete my comments like you're begging me to do.
Case closed. Don't think that you can just take "inspiration" from others and not credit it.
And since you blocked me, you have officially lost the "victim" card and the "get of jail free" card.

You are not even listening to me. I didn't have one reference.
But yes for the body/pose sports illustrated. That's the brilliance of online interaction.
No I don't have to prove anything to you. I just wanted you to not invite a heard of trolls.
And yes my past does have everything to do with it, because I am redrawing A LOT of my
former work. And Because I have the skill to draw. That's what I am doing right now.
I don't want trolls so I am stopping this
now by controlling what I can control which is my comments. This is not worth my worries
or tears. I love myself enough to say enough of your abuse. I have nothing further to say
to you and I really have better things to do with my time and am going to do so now.
Good luck. I hope you can find another way to draw attention to yourself besides this.
And use your time to draw as I have and will.
I am not running and hiding I am just trying to avoid any further incidence
but you clearly would just rather name call and fight. I am done.

No offense honey, but your art isn't worth 50,000 USD. We aren't trolling, I don't think you know what trolling actually is. But regardless, you still need to credit the work you copied from. You referenced the work, that much is obvious and if you can't admit it then that just makes you even more of a crappy person.

Always love SakimiChan's art, just wish they didn't all have "huge chest syndrome", other than that most are quite faithful to the originals... which is pretty hard to find
