I absolutely love your NuError stuff 3; some of it is really heart breaking to look at, I haven't really read the information, but it gives me the feeling that there's a lot of heart break within the story?

Even the smiles make me feel like they want to cry somehow? But ugh the art is so beautiful :3

I don't have the time to make my testaments-comments ;A; But I wanted, since a lot ago, to comment in here because I love this so much !!

to be honest and the beginning I was a little confused if it was yours (the thumbnail, i mean X'D) because, I mean the format is a little different (a good different) somehow I can't really explain with words (?. Although yes, your essence was there. It was like an stunning and unusual new side of your creations, and I love it without doubt ♥
I love the feelings in this one. For me it's a mix of angst but with a beautiful meaning in the background, a nostalgic but heartwarming one ~
The colors as always are pure harmony and I love love how you compose the sky with their clouds, is gorgeous!
And don't make me talk about Shin... that precious kid, let me love him ;o; ♥ ♥ ahhh, he's like my fav of your OCs for real don't do this to me ><

It's SHINKAMI!!!!!!!! *screams and hides face* SHINKAMi BABY...!!! You look so lovely and heartbreaking in this picture!! T^T Haha, out of your OCs I'd have to say Shinkami is my favorite... ;w; He's such a wonderful, kind, strong person, isn't he?

This picture, even though it's stylistically simple compared your other wonderful works, may actually be one of my favorites. Shinkami's gorgeous expression really conveys his happiness and pain... And the way he's bathed in the rays of the sun just makes him even more beautiful. ;-;

This picture definitely made me a little bit emotional haha. Especially because I can read Chinese (I speak and listen fluently but I'm still trying to read and write better OTL), and Shinkami's words are simply too beautiful. >^< "I want to die exquisitely"; there's a very sad and beautiful meaning behind those words. His words are sad because they signify that his life is ending soon but they are beautiful because they also signify how he chooses to live it: beautifully, exquisitely, with no regrets.

Ahhh, one of the reasons I love your original story is because I can relate to it so well. Well, I feel like most people should be able to also. It's about the struggle of human life, ne? Wanting to be happy and wanting one's friends and family to be happy also... I think that why your original story touches my heart so much, because I can deeply feel the emotions of your characters and sympathize with them and laugh and cry with them. <33333333333333

(Oh one thing though; when you say "I want to die beautifully" I think you would say it like this--- 我想死得精美 ^-^)

Wuuuui this is so amazing. I'm so glad you uploaded it so I could favourite it and write an essay on why I love it so much ^3^

First of all, I love how expressive Shinkami is. Most of the art that you do features him with an neutral expression and in a way it's very charming and lovely to see him smiling with such vigor, even though it's in a sad and pained way. You've really nailed how his face gets slightly longer from a full blown smile, his eyes even though closed are still very much full of emotion and I really love the detail you've gone into of framing them. Even with your semi-realistic style you've nailed his facial proportions. The line art, especially for a speed-paint in phenomenal. I really love how thicker segments of colour, such as his jacket have really broad strokes, whereas the finer points such as his hair and nose have much thinner and delicate lines. I also love the composition, Shin's face isn't quite in the centre which makes it more eye-catching, the writing isn't too outspoken so it doesn't become the main focus but the use of red and the lense flair give it a wonderful leading line, as well as the trail of runes and the thin stream of cloud.

The background is incredible, as I've only seen you use clouds for sunset or cosmic settings, so it's wonderful to see such a fluffy and extremely well rendered cloud that's not so detailed that it takes way from Shin himself, but rendered enough to be a brilliant, contrasting background for the character. It's also coloured perfectly in that it doesn't cause Shin's hair to blend in. Clouds are one of those things that need to look realistic with correct shading and structure; which you've done perfectly ^3^ Especially with the light source being heavy on the left with small reflective patches in the darker centres. 

The hair is incredible, I absolutely love it, the flow and shape is gorgeous and the colouring is incredible as always. I really love the thin gold strands of hair that give it an ethereal feeling. It's one of my favourite things you draw and the level of detail you go into is always amazing. It flows correctly and in a way that it doesn't obstruct any of his features and frames them nicely.

The shading on his face also frames his expression nicely, it's not too complicated and really draws in the viewer, especially to his pearly smile ^3^ 

As always I absolutely love Shinkami's design, it's extremely original and I always tell you how much I love the combination of different themes such as Egyptian, African and some more abstract themes such as the diamond's on his jacket. The glint on his necklace and the cords of his clothing really add to the floaty flying feeling of the whole piece. He's not falling but he's not flying upwards either and the lack of gravity and dramatic flow of his clothing really make the whole work more impressive and emotional to look at. 

Now the colouring, which is always the most incredible thing you do and the aspect you seem to always improve on with every piece. The lighting is extremely eye catching and is great for making Shinkami stand out. If the underside of the jacket was black then he wouldn't be as dramatic to look at. The reflective light on the edge of the hood is a really lovely detail and the coldness of blue in his hair, the fairness of his skin, the black of his jacket, white of the cord and green of his shirt is greatly contrasted and complimented by the warm use of gold; which really, REALLY adds to the whole scene. The tiny details such as the gemstones on his necklace and the tiny lines of light on the cord of the jacket really add to the depth of his design.

The emotion of the entire piece is a mix of sadness and happiness and even without you telling us what the Chinese character's say, it's very obvious that, without trying to bring the mood down, the piece is about death or accepting death. I'm glad that you didn't put obvious tears on Shin's cheeks or eyes as they would've revealed too much and give the viewer too much info. Because of his expression I can tell Shinkami's is trying to appear brave and happy when in actuality he's very sad; just by looking at him the viewer can tell he's been through a lot and sacrificed a lot to make other's happy. It's obvious by his expression that he's saying "Don't worry, I'm fine." and hiding his true feelings to make others happy. Which is a very sweet, likeable and relatable trait for a character to have, as well as making it easier for the viewer to be sympathetic. It's also a common trait for someone with depression to have, which I would assume Shinkami's has if I didn't already know his character. 

The symbolism in the piece isn't too full on, but the clouds and golden light look very heavenly, as if he's accepting death peacefully. I'm assuming the runes are hand drawn like always and I'm not sure what they say, but with the cloud shoot in the background, my eyes view a circular halo that seems to encapsulate him. I'm probably grasping at straws cause I love that kind of religious symbolism but regardless that's what I ended up seeing ^3^

Overall I really love this piece, it's not as detailed as your flax flowers piece but it has way more meaning that's obvious to the viewer, as if it's the last page of a book or the final screen of a game's ending. 
I love everything you draw sweetie but I really, REALLY love your personal pieces the most.

Shinkami!!! Yay, I'm glad you had time to draw something for yourself!!! A very impressive speedpaint. That smile of his is just so cute. I really like your colouring, and the sense of wind blowing through his clothes.

I always enjoy reading your comments too, since it's nice to know what you were thinking about when making this piece. It's fun reading about the story and text behind it!
