Long time no post~
My first post in probably what seems to be 2 or 3 years. Been on a long hiatus from dA because life happens but I'll try my best to be more consistent with the posting now that I'm back on.
Wanted to capture the issue of deforestation with this illustration and what it does to species of animals. The word that was swirling in my mind when I worked on this was 'intensity.'

Update: I've won an award for this piece back in college and I am proud to say that this piece was up for purchase and display for my school's community. It saddens me that recently, the large print for my piece that was up for display was stolen by someone on campus. I'm not sure why people choose to steal than contact an artist for a print themselves because I did sell prints of my gal here. I hope whoever did take it would be mature enough to return her to her rightful place for the community to see as opportunity to have my work up is very rare and means a lot to me. A post about my stolen piece may have circulated its rounds on the internet as it became a popular post on reddit and maybe a few other sites as well. But this is not how I would want my piece to become known for. I hope my girl returns one day to her place but it's ironic as this piece is meant to portray a consequence from the selfishness of man.
