Plus, this version of Korra is 27 and is a pretty strong, independent gal; I don't think she'd care much for that kind of label being shoe-horned onto the end of her name.

Plus...Korra isn't Japanese, nor is she living in a Japanese culture.
At any rate, I can tell you that this interpretation of Korra would utterly detest being called 'kun' or 'chan' or 'san' or anything of that nature.

They have some important scenes together coming up as the story draws closer to an end (like this one, obviously, haha), and I'm looking forward to writing them a lot.

Haha, well, a good story has to come to an end at some point. Some may last upwards of 10 seasons of TV, some 3, maybe some are only 1. SRU is a pretty long story but it will have to end in order to feel whole.
