I tried to make it look like the outfit was shiny... I don't think I did very well. >< Anyone mind telling me how to improve on the shine?? :\Pen sketch- :thumb154477491:
Anyway, for those of you who can't tell, it's VERY much inspired by Michael Jackson's Thriller jacket. It's supposed to be smooth and shiny like the jacket he would have worn for Thriller on his This Is It tour. There is a built-in arm band design because he often sported one (on his right arm). I put spats on the boots because... well because I personally think spats are sexy but Jackson had a thing for them too. He told Zaldy, his costume designer for This Is It, that he loves spats and I thought they would look nice in this design. ^^
While it's mostly inspired by Michael Jackson's fashion, it's also inspired very much by Lady Gaga and Beyonce. The leotard aspect and tight body fit. The exaggerated shoulders. And the six inch heel boots.

the thing that bothers me tho is the long white stockings
it would do much better without it
since ur main color is red for the outfit
white is sa powerful color
and it makes the eye fight between the 2 colors
if you would just take away the white stocking it would look less confusing and more stylish

What if I made the black part go all the way up to where the stockings end? 'Cause I like the way it looks now but there's always room for improvement.
Or what if I made the spat part go all the way up instead of stopping at the ankle? O3O

well if you like it i guess thats all that matters
its just my opinion
personally to make it work (in my eyes)
the entire white stocking would have to go to make it work. some sacrafices will have to be made even if that particular item is a good idea (what i do is i save that item and then do another outfit based on it) if you want the boots to be long for this outfit it would be nice to make some thigh high plain black or red boots that are pointed in the center (like sailor moon)
