this was a comission for a buddy of mine who was in a band called outskirts. the concept was a piano player with a top hat n mystro coat walking at the doors of the clock tower going up to the top to play. on the back of the band shirts it would be him playing. my buddy had a rough idea going with a few things that i had to edit from the idea and this was going to be on a band shirt. about 2 days in row i couldnt sleep so i workd my ass off on this, n next day when i stop by for a beer he tell's me,"you kno that comission?.. fuck it coz they threw me out of the band." lol..Related content

Oh no! But I really enjoy this piece even though they aren't going to follow through with it
I really like the concept and how you compositionally made it better. I remember you were telling me what he originally wanted, and I think that you made the changes for the best. It turned out to be a great piece. The only part that bothers me (and it may have been your scanner cutting it off) Is that his left foot is cropped out. Normally if you do cropping on a figure, it shouldn't be at a joint. Also too, for commission sake, generally an illustrator does the whole figure, and you can crop it out by adding a matte on photoshop if the client wants it to be cropped later.
Even though the piece isn't going to be used for the band, I'd really like to see this finished someday ^^
