Chapter 2 the lovers
Shuna Pov
I wake the next day to hear Airoia snoring like a lion. I smile and I kiss his cheek and get out of bed and when he gets up I need to remember to apologize for being I cry baby. Then I get up and I take a very hot shower because it feels nice and I hear Airoia walk in.
“Hey save some of the hot water for me.” He says as I finish.
“Get you get me a towel please and I sorry for breaking down like I did last night.” I say and he does and says that it is okay. I get the towel on tight and walk to see Airoia focusing on my face.
“Hey is something wrong?” I ask worried.
“I-I just not used to have seeing you in nothing but a towel, that’s all.” He says and looks away, I grab his face and kiss him on the cheek and push him out to get dress. Then I walk out to see Airoia in his cloth, but I don’t see mine. I want to ask but I feel light headed and fall, Airoia catches me and helps me stand. I look at him but everything fades out a little as I try keeping my eyes open but I can’t. ‘Ecliptic don’t let me die, please I beg you!’ I pray in my head. I hear Airoia call my name, but I pass out. Then I wake in Airoia’s bed and he holds my hand tight, I smile and try to get up quietly but Airoia is a light sleeper because even the quietest moment that I make wakes him.
“Shuna, are you okay!?” He asks worried as I move to get out of bed.
“I am fine.” I say but he isn’t letting me get out of bed. He sits on the bed and tightens his grip and it hurts but I did scare him to death so I don’t bother because I love him that much as he does with me because he cares a lot about me. He leans in to kiss me, but there is a knock on the door before our lips touch.
“Who is it?” He asks trying not to sound annoyed.
“Hey, Airoia there is someone on the phone to talk you.” A guard answers him.
“Okay I’m coming.” He says and leaves into the main hall to answer as I wait and wonder who it could be. Then I grab my little black dress that I have on me because I was going to go to a black-tie party at Kear Morhen but I thought I could use it to see if it turns Airoia on and the fact it is the only other clothes I have with me right now. I hear the door open and Airoia comes in with an upset look.
“Airoia what happen?” I ask.
“Nothing just someone thought that I did something to them but I didn’t.” He says and notices the dress, blushes and turns away.
“Oh, come on Airoia the dress won’t bite.” I say and he comes over nervous but sits next to me and kisses me. He gets on top of me but gets off.

“Sorry I didn’t mean to force myself on you.” He says, I smile and nuzzle into him for a while but then someone knocked on the door. I was about to talk until Airoia covered my mouth.
“Who is it?” He asked.
“Sorry to wake you if I did, but it is time for the normal gold saint meeting.” Mu says and he gets up and walks out. I think of what Ecliptic could be doing since I think she get boarded at the meeting so I got up to find her. I thought she would be hard to find but I did find her in her house sleeping and I sat next to her. She wakes and smiles, then get up and stands on her tail.
“Hey there when did you get here?” She asks me with a smile.
“I just got here, I wanted to learn about you and hoping to hear all the stories you may have.” I say and she grins joyfully. Then pulls up two seats and tells me everything I want to know. After while Airoia and the other gold saints come in and sit with me and listen to the tales. I think I fall asleep because everything goes black.
Airoia Pov
‘Shuna’ I thought as I took her to my room once Ecliptic stop tell us the stories that Shuna asked her to. I laid her on my bed, as she sleeps I feel some sort of darkness coming toward Sanctuary and I fear for Shuna because she feels it even when she sleeps and I can’t worry her. I kneel to her face and kiss her. But she wakes and I grab her instantly to protect her.
“Something wrong?” She asks me but I don’t answer because her eyes have changed to cat-like eyes? How?
“S-Sorry, just I felt something and instantly went to protect you.” I say and she smiles laying back down and when she finally falls asleep, I sneak out to Ecliptic’s house and everyone is there.
“Airoia you sense it toos? *Laughs*” She says.
“Yes.” I say as my brother stands next to me because she brought him back.
“What we have sensed are the Witchers.”
“Witchers?!” We say.
“Yes they are an old order that has lived in different world for ours and some of them have the ability to go to other worlds to find the Witcheres, who was responsible for the first Witcher. The fact we sense them means that the Witcheres is here in Sanctuary somewhere unaware that she is and to awaken the sleeping soul if they are to take the one who the soul lives in a Witcher must be near.” She explains and continues and I sneak out because I heard enough of what she said. Then I think of how Shuna’s eyes had changed to cat-like eye which is what a Witcher has and…No! She can’t be the Witcheres she is a saint and my lover. When I get my house and into my room I see Shuna still there sleeping, I wake her.
“Hmm? Airoia, what is wrong?” She asked as I lay next to her, and I kiss her for a while. She breaks the kiss for a bit, panting then I force another long kiss and part as she pants and sees me before she closes her eyes because she still dazed for waking up but I know she can hear me.
“Shuna, I love you so much! Please don’t ever leave me.” I say panting as I pull her close and hold her for the rest of the night. I wake to see she is still here sleeping in my arms.
“Shuna, you, forever be my everything, for that will never change and that is, because I love you.” I whisper in her ear and again I feel the Witchers coming. I get up into a shower and think ‘could she, my lover really be the one they're looking for?’ I wonder that question in my mind as I shower. But then I take out and get dress in my cloth and see Shuna up and dress in weird clothes with a necklace that I can’t see but I try not to mind it.
“Hey are you okay? Because last… well don’t get me wrong I love the kisses last night, but is there something wrong?” She asks me so worried.
“No I had a nightmare so after washed my face and when I came back I realized that no matter what I can’t lose you.” I answer and she kisses me and I give her my tongue, which she parts her lips and my tongue slides in. I feel her tingle and shivers as I part and she lays her head on my chest.
“Shuna, you are and will always be my everything and I will protect you.” I say and I feel her cosmos leaving her? What? But she is live, I am looking right at her in my arms and I have worried look when I look down at her.
“Something is wrong, because there is something I didn’t tell you. And I it is my fault, I am sorry.” She says escapes my hold and leaves while I chase after her.
“Shuna!” I yell racing after her after but she faster then she lets on and Ecliptic plus the others are running beside me.
“Why is she running?” My brother asks.
“I think she might be the Witcheres but I hope she isn’t.”
“And we know the reason why you hope that.” Ecliptic says with a smile.

“Hey it’s okay we want you to live a good life as lovers.” Mu says as we chase Shuna and I grab her as we stop. I pull her close to me as she tries to break out of my hold.
“I said that I can’t lose you and I won’t because I love you!” I say, she cries into my chest.
“Hey! Let her go!” We hear a voice and man with another appear, ‘Witchers!’ I thought because of their two swords and cat-like eyes. She looks at them like she knows them.
“Geralt, Vesemir!” She says and walks to them but I stop her.
“Please don’t go.” I say and she looks at me and looks back at others.
“Vesemir, Geralt they can come, can’t they?” She asks them and one nods.
“On come to Kear Morhen.” She says and I follow but look back at the others who smile and come along with Athena? When did she get here? But I don’t think about it because Shuna holds on to me as we ride on horses. I smile but then frost comes. Frost?
“Run!” I hear them call and we do as weird men in armor made out of bones and Shuna screams as we run fast and faster. And we out run them and enter Kear Morhen.
“Who are they and what the hell do they want!?” Ecliptic asks them as the horses stop.
“We will talk about them later, but right now we get Shuna to her room and you, lion boy you're coming to.” The one called Geralt said at least I think he is called. Then we enter her room they close the door and lock it when I and her. I get nervous as she takes my hand and lay there together as she sleeps as I force myself to stay awake because I don’t trust the night. ‘I can’t go sleep!’ I tell myself in my head over and over. Then morning comes and shines through my eyelids because I fell asleep. ‘Damn!’ I thought because even though nothing happen I still want to be sure of that nothing will happen. Then Shuna wakes and looks at me with a cute sleepy smile.
“Did you stay up all night?” She asks me sleepy.
“Yeah because after what happen last night, I didn’t trust myself to sleep.” I say and she gets on her arms and kisses me as I return it gladly and get her on her back. She wraps her hand around my neck and giggles as I kiss her neck. It feels like silk and tastes like mint and I stop when someone knocks on the door.
“Yes Vesemir?” She says.
“The court will start soon so take a shower and get dress.” He says and leaves.
“Court?” I ask her.
“I am kind of queen so I have to do this for three weeks and for the three weeks after I get off.” She says and gets up.
Shuna Pov
I get into a bath as Airoia gets my clothes and his new clothes. I see him as he tries not to look but I knew he must have caught a glance or two as I stand and he turns as I get my towel.
“Hey it’s okay, because tonight I am going tonight me and you are going to do something fun in my room.” I say and I can tell his heart jumps and I get dress. He holds my hand as we walk to the courtroom, Athena is there and others to. I take a deep breath as I sit on my throne and listen to the people that have come and I oblige them to talk. Ciri my considered sister stands on my right and Airoia stands on my left and I sit with my hands on my lap and my legs are crossed.
“Milady, the southern realms are at our border and we must find a way to drive without.” One says.
“Yes but even if we do they will come back and…”
“I have something to say!” Someone cuts in and it is someone with a hood over his head.
“Who are you?” Geralt says with silver sword out because he can’t tell if he is a monster.
“I am a messenger to of the Indigo people who are to take the life of Milady Witcheres.” He says and attacks me but Airoia uses lighting Plasma and kills him. I am scared and stunted that I and my people have done nothing to these Indigo people. Hear Vesemir say that enough for today of the court and will resume tomorrow. I go to my room as Yennefer talks to me about Aiolia and calm me but not much. Then she leaves and Aiolia came in worried.
“You okay?” He says worried as he kneels to see my shaken face.
“Yes and I love what you did and I am grateful but I want to know what I did to those people; because I have never heard of them.” I say and he lays me on the bed kissing me. He strips me and himself as he goes down kisses my neck. I moan and tingle while grabbing his hair, my fingers tangling themselves in his white hair.
“Oh, Aiolia, ah, n-ah please don’t leave me!” I say moaning as he continues down my collar bone. Then everything goes black after a while. I wake the next day feeling safe in Aiolia’s arms. I get up and I get into a bath and relax for a while, until Aiolia comes in.
“Shuna feeling better?” He asked me giving me a towel.
“Yeah way better. Thanks for last night.” I say with the towel wrapped tightly around me. I get dress and Aiolia walks with me. We walk back to the throne room as he refuses to tell go of my hand and his grip tightens, it hurts but I but smile and sit on the throne and resume where we left off from yesterday.
“And I said yesterday, if we did drive them out they would come back.” The noble says as someone whispered in another's ear and hands him something.
“We have this letter from one of the leaders of the Southern realms saying that he will stop attacking the border if Milady marries his son.” He says and I won’t do it because I love someone else. I hear Ciri and Airoia grit their teeth and I am afraid...no terrified at the thought.
Ecliptic Pov
What the hell? Marry someone else's son you don’t know? I hate that and besides me and the others agree that Shuna and Airoia will marry. I can tell that Shuna is afraid to talk so I do it for her.
“Hey, how about we take time to think, because we should not run into this.” I say and she nods, but she is she still afraid? I hate this she should be happy not sad and I find a way for her to happy again I swear. I leave and walk out to see Shuna crying in Airoia’s arms as he holds her close whispering something in her ear. Then I think what I can do that will help her be happy. I think of what to do to help as Vesemir came to me.
“We have a problem Vesemir, we can’t tell Milady marry someone she doesn’t know.” I say and he nods. Then I go to see Shuna who is her room with Airoia holding her close. I bow and explain an idea.
“Well how about you two get married and then they leaves us alone and if not I will kill the king, queen, and prince so the kingdom falls. And then the other kings will fight each other because of the new land they can claim.” I explain and she nods so I go off and travel to the southern realms.
Airoia Pov
“Shuna-sama, please don’t cry, those tears don’t suit your beautiful face, I love so.” I say as she cries and I hold her close. She fall sleep on my chest I lay her down as a carrier bird comes with a letter form that prince and I tear it up and go to sleep. I wake the next day with Shuna up sitting by me reading a book.
“Shuna-san…” I say and pull her into a kiss as she parts and nuzzles into me. She lies on my chest reading the book as we lay on the bed. She falls asleep after an hour and I sneak away to look out the balcony. I watch the Witchers train and train as Ecliptic comes back dragging the body of some king of the southern realms. I smile as Shuna wakes up as I walk to her. She smiles while rubbing her eyes as I kiss her.
“Aiolia, what’s going on?” She asks.
“Ecliptic came back.” I say sitting next to her as she leans on me. She looks sick?
“Are you feeling all right?” I ask worried.
“Yeah just light headed.” She says holding her head as she tries to stand. I help her stand and she starts passing out.
“Shuna!” I shout as she passes out.
Narrator Pov
Shuna is ill very ill. Aiolia and the others are sacred that she’ll die because she doesn’t seem to be getting better. Has fate been sealed for Shuna or will she recover? Will Aiolia lose his love? Next chapter coming soon!

She falls asleep after an hour and I sneak away to look out the balcony. I watch the Witchers train and train as Ecliptic comes back dragging the body of some king of the southern realms. I smile as Shuna wakes up as I walk to her. She smiles while rubbing her eyes as I kiss her.
“Aiolia, what’s going on?” She asks.
“Ecliptic came back.” I say sitting next to her as she leans on me. She looks sick?
“Are you feeling all right?” I ask worried.
“Yeah just light headed.” She says holding her head as she tries to stand. I help her stand and she starts passing out.
“Shuna!” I shout as she passes out.
Narrator Pov
Shuna is ill very ill. Aiolia and the others are sacred that she’ll die because she doesn’t seem to be getting better. Has fate been sealed for Shuna or will she recover? Will Aiolia lose his love? Next chapter coming soon!
