I see I see This looks really interesting! and like it'll be a really fun game~ I'm actually at university studying media with minors in computer science and videogame design and development...although I'm not far enough in to really know very much

What is it like working on your own game and what kind of things do you face?

Well, I started off as an artist and then learned programming. So I can do both.

I'm doing a demo game right now in flash. Probably the main obstacle is game play. it is the most difficult thing (for me) to get right, because although you may find it fun, it's hard to know if everyone else will.

Yes, I'm working on doing a working demo right now, really rough, just to get an idea of what I want the final game to look like. Then I'll release it here and have people try it. After the demo has been okayed, I'll probably launch a kickstarter to see if there is enough interest to finish the idea. (not much, just enough to pay for the software) If the software is paid for then I will finish the game. (software will run 2,000-5,000 dollars, any over that will go to pay me while I'm working on completing it. )
