One of those images that came about from the creation of something completely different. It happens sometimes, originaly started as an image about the pyramids but ended up the summoning or the return of 'deperet'. Done in photoshop, approx 3 hours.Related content

Reminds me of a dream I had recently.
VERY powerful image. The clouds appear much alive. 'Derepet's' form feels ancient, weathered beyond time. Completely stunning piece, I would be stricken with more than just awe to witness something so powerful.

Digital art but painting or photomanipulation or mixing?! Confused about these things whenever see your artworks here... It looks like photomanip, really painting in 3 hrs for comming up with that detail and finish status?? (pure paint?)

all the above. depends on the image and look Im after, its a mix of painted / photomanip / lots of post effect work.
I tend to paint everything first , loose. Then depending on what im after , work in either textures / photo or more paint.

But a bit more wonder, ... in case you use some photo or external texture (or something in the way not made by you), then should to put some resource like stock credit or sth like that in description... I didn't saw that in your works. So I think you made them out almost by yourself. But somehow they really made someone feel about photomanip or mixed media.
Well, that isn't a problem here, just a bit curious. Finished artworks speak everything.

I dont use photos like most manips, I use them in the same way ( ish ) as matte painters. SO Im not manipulating an image, Im working into a pre-existing image. Plus I use all my own photos
