personally I perfect sonamy and the reason why is cause well I think I'll just message you a point I like to make on the subject it's may come as unfriendly but it's not mean to its just a point and I'm messaging to you only so you'll understand I I Myself stand where I stand..............sonamy is better because it's more logical given sonic Amy's and shadows personally and amy she is very stronge willed for her to love or like another guy is not out of character but for her to fall out of love with sonic or choose another in the long run is out of character for her even  a world where sonally is permeate she wouldn't she would either A be alone for the rest of her life B find a rebound guy or C commit suicide( wouldn't rule that possibly out even in the sonic universe ) is it possible for her love another and forget/ move on from sonic yes but logically speaking not very likely cause she has loved him no how mean no matter how many girls his dated no matter how long she's had to waited no matter how badly he has treated her she's never stoped loving him and she's waited for him for 8 years and counting kinda hard Almost  impossible even to kill that kinda love cannon speaking it would Definitely be impossible for the love she has for him to die plus shadamy seems so dark in a lot of stories including a lot of shadamy stories shadow seems more of Amy's rebound guy and that's not true love and also in a lot stories also  including a lot of shadamy stories it seems that shadow tends to be tho maybe not always complty but does tend to be possessive controlling forcful untrusting and overprotective now when he is with someone else that's doesn't seem to be the case but with amy somehow that's how he is with her not to mention somehow her relationship with shadow causes her to not be as close if not at all with her friends including cream which is sad because cream is like her sister not to mention it that when shadow is with someone else he gets pulled into the light and changes for the better but in shadamy that a not the case amy even if it's in small ways gets pulled into darkness and changes for the worst maybe there are a few good changes sometimes but at what price in the process she forgets who she is and why she is here and or gives up special parts of herself that makes her who she is yet when she is with sonic she is able to be herself as is sonic able to she would let's him have s freedom as long as he sometimes shares it with her now some would argue that amy is 12 and sonic is 17 which is true but  Japan that a  in fact people in  those  groups  get married  Japan legally also some would argue that shadamy isn't dark love it's forbien love be that as it may even then sometimes there's a good reason and sometimes  a very good reason why  forbien and shouldn't happened at least as a permanent thing anyway shadow  would  better  Amy's best friend or as just someone she knows close friends or boyfriend now ex boyfriend or as her big brother figure but most importantly sonamy is cannon and if that's the case then that's means they were literally made and and destined to be together don't beileve me see for yourself look up on Google sonamy is cannon always has been

I ship many things. I'm a multi-shipper. I have no interest or compulsion in limiting myself to a single couple. To me, "OTP" means the pairing I prefer above the others, not the one that cancels everything else out.
