I have never watched Ginga Densetsu Weed until today And I must say I'm impressed. I really like Kyoshiro as a character hes probably my fave right now.I hope to watch the first one too but for now I got this , Go check out the full drawing on the bottom Here :Art (c) Salt-Dog

I really enjoy the artistic fidelity you added to the screen that you've redrawn and if the series could have animation anywhere near that, oh my.
The one thing I feel a bit iffy about is the actually scene itself which I believe could've been captured a bit differently as it lacks the situation of desperation and struggle. kyo doesn't seem to be enough pain or even surprised about being pinned, and the bite/grip the other Dog has doesn't seem reach as far around which makes it look like he's ready to just get up and walk away. That aside.
A very nice picture to look at, some of these redraws of yours are really interesting.

Yeah, I defiantly agree with you. When I did this redraw I thought it looked perfect, now it makes me ceinge with how wimpy that bite looks. I think one day i might redraw this again, see how much my skills and style has changed.

I'm sure it would turn out great if you did, it's probably healthy to do these kind of re-draws every once in a while since it makes you work so differently compared to making an original piece.
