Description PATREON  / PRINTS  /

I had tremendous fun painting this while streaming, the computer got a little slow at times but that's all right! I'll make this streaming business a regular thing, I'm really enjoying it.

It's seem to be a perfect place for camping ; I want to be there ^^
Really good composition.

The angles of the rocks(figures?) look really nice! Also the light!

Those are some very pointy rock formations. And yet, it looks like something you could actually find somewhere in the world. Well done.

There are crazier places than this, like those chinese rock cliffs

Love this kind of painting style Perhaps adding some sharper (brighter) highlights on the ripples in the water would help show that it's water, because I'll admit I wasn't too sure at first if it's water or land except for that one bright spot where the sunlight is strongest

You are spot on and good advice, I had a real problem with those waves and making it look more water-y. Thanks Laura

Really gorgeous scene here! The dark colors of the mossy/grassy mountainous cliffs contrast really well with the sun reflecting on it & everything else here

Totally my pleasure! I admit I didn't watch all of it but it's amazing to see others start their work, I have always thought that's my biggest problem.

I will visit your stream every time I'm at home as long as you let us know!
Glad you had fun streaming!

Well done Vlad, this looks great. I especially like the texture of the brushes.

Thanks man! Every work feels like it needs more time, more pushing around, more refining. This is what "finishing" a work feels like, hehe

Yeah, I feel the same way, I often feel the need to keep doing more and tweaking things. Which is is annoying when I want to call it "finished" but spend a bunch of time doing stuff, then realize I just spent an hour or more without actually doing much. So I try to ask myself: "Will doing this make this painting significantly better?". If the answer is no, then I try to find another aspect to work on or decide to call it done.
