I love your take on Shonagon! She's one of my favourite writers! You did a nice job capturing her expression here, and all the layers of fabric look great.

otherwise,I've read "The Pillow Book" by Sei Shonagon,in french of course...I really loved it even if I felt lost sometimes with the numerous characters,titles and look-alike names that confused me(because of the french translation??)
But it's really an unforgettable piece of litterature
