Great idea! Aurora has such a big heart even if she hasn't had a proper one lol
(and I agree what's said some comments above that she deserved a happy ending - in the end she was more human than gollem, what if she created such a strong bond with humans she just became one or sort of, and she didn't vanished? come on if the Azran could resucitate the group after they sacrifized themselves, what was "not credible" in making her "human"?)

Thank youuu...
And yeah, the ending really wasn't very fair to her. I wish there'd been a proper way for her to walk out of it and be able to live the rest of her life (not counting that one shot of the lady who looked like her in the credits). ;w;

This is such a clever idea, and a great use of the prompt. I can just imagine her mourning the golems because she's also... you know.
Now excuse me while I go cry in a corner ;_;

I think if she'd been given more of a chance that maybe she would have mourned the golems. They were Azrans, just like her. ;w;

I wish Aurora didn't make me so sad. ;A; This has been said a million times, but she deserved a happy ending.

;A; It's worth saying a million more times though. On a controversial note, her death probably makes me the saddest in the series, even more so than Claire's. I find Claire's death unfair, but at the same time, she knew what she was working on, she knew the risks, and she kept at it. Nobody is ready for death really, but Claire's doesn't make me so sad because she would have known it was a possibility, and not blamed anyone.
Aurora's though is extremely unfair. ;A; She never had any choice in the matter, created as a tool whose purpose was to actually die. WHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. That's just awful. Really awful. ;A;
lololol spoilers everywhere. ;A; This is spoiler marked though, so I sincerely hope this doesn't give you any trouble.

Death usually doesn't bother me in fiction very much, simply because it's a part of being human. Of course, I always want it to be handled respectfully, but I don't mind it being used in a story. "Death cheat" plots (do I even need to say Shadow the Hedgehog?) bother me a lot more than death in fiction does.
In regards to Claire, I wasn't really that upset by her passing, because by the time it happens we're made aware that she's probably always known that this was going to be the case (at least in the "present day" portion of the game) and the time she had within 1974 London was borrowed time she wouldn't have otherwise had. That isn't to say that her dying wasn't sad, but since the moral was that you can't really change the past and Claire had already died in the past, it didn't hit me so hard.
But with Aurora, everything that happened to her happened because of the actions of other people - the Azrans using her as a seal, Bronev stabbing her and even Layton saying "Well sorry, but the human race doesn't need you, so bye!" Literally a much nicer ending to the story would have been showing Aurora bypassing what she was apparently created to do and being able to live her own life by her own choosing. It would have actually tied in pretty well with Layton very firmly choosing that he is Hershel Layton, not Theodore Bronev. Sigh...
And don't worry about posting spoilers on my stuff. To be honest, I've already warned there'll be spoilers in my gallery to the extent that I probably wouldn't even hide spoilers on non-spoiler marked work. But I completely understand you only wanting to talk about spoilers on spoiler marked work, because that's more fair on everyone. I've just sadly ended up a bit hostile about the whole spoiler thing, given the treatment some US fans have been giving UK fans on the matter. =/
