A quick sketch of British Formula one driver John Watson, driving his McLaren-Ford MP4/1B in 1982.John Watson was known as a strong championship title competitor in 1982, only losing it to Keke Rosberg by 5 points.
Watson was also known to have stellar overtaking races now and then. On long Beach 1983 he won the race from a 22nd qualifying position. He did the same thing on Detroit 1982 from the 17th qualifying position.
