Remember this? Green hill zone from the original Sonic the hedgehog game on the SEGA genesis.
I loved the sonic games and drawing this certainly brings back good memories.
I had a lot of fun playing this as a kid at my friends house. It was not until I was older that I actually owned sonic 1.
Thoough I had all the other sega sonic games xD
Anyways this picture is for my brother, his favorite bad guy is the Masher fish that jump out of the waterfalls.
It's a quick sketch that I have done for fun, and fun is all that matters.
Even the drawing reminds me of something I would have drawn when I was probably 6 or 7 xD
I really don't care how childish it looks because I like it and it was fun to do.
ahh i'm sorta dissapointed though... I forgot to draw the Crab!!! I really like that badnik and I forgot to add him in D:
Ahh... I will have to draw him some time....
My brother has challenged me to draw every sonic level O_O
I ACCEPT!

It's just that for the waterfall, you could color it with more depth and blend various blue shades. The point where the water falls could be a lot less angular, too.

They are excellent practice! Since my sister bought me a lovely non-lined paper notebook for my bday, it became my sketchdump book xD

Ha ha, well nothing like a visual journal right? They are fun to look back on though sadly I hate drawing on the lump that is the book so I just have a folder exploding with paper xD

What's worse are the non-art classes that make you draw for projects. They really don't know what they're doing. In fact, a drew a graphic novel of a classic with little effort and I got 100.

in fact, we aren't even learning. I honestly wish I could reform my English department. Their English skills suck too, because they make multiple choice tests with some choices that mean the same thing or can both be strongly interpreted as fitting the question. Talk about lame-ass.

I completely agree. But for AP U.S. history, that's how the questions get tricky. The choices are all different from each other, but you still got to be precise.
