Not only do I love your drawing, I love this series, too! (I was so surprised to see this.)
How did you get the different shades of blue to stay in specified areas? (Layer masking?)
The red has a really rich hue that stands out rather well against the black.
I stared at this for a long time.

i didn't really do anything special for the blue... i just colored in all the dark parts black in one layer and then in a different layer (underneath the black) colored in blue and gray xD
