I finally made my first custom! Not only is it my first custom, but it's my first G4 toy. I never got the chance to get one until gave me her pink Princess Celestia that she didn't want. I of course wasn't fond of Pink Celestia either, so I decided to make it into a custom and show-accurate Luna.

As you can see, I put a LOT of effort into hiding brush strokes, as I HATE seeing brush strokes on customs. My method was using cotton balls and Q-tips in a patting motion. I even used Sharpie to draw the black cutie mark and color the eye. I didn't want to touch the eye with paint, so I masked it with some tape. I also glittered the cutie mark and the hair. Some glitter got on the rest of the body, but that was unavoidable.

Anyway, I finished this some time ago, but I couldn't take a picture because my camera was out of batteries. Normally I would flip the batteries over when it gave me the "Change the batteries" message, which would squeeze out just enough juice for one picture, but it got to the point where it couldn't go any further. Yesterday, we finally got more batteries.

This custom is NOT for sale. Like I said, it is my first custom and the ONLY G4 pony I own. I don't plan on selling or giving her away. I wish I had two more pink Celestias to make a show accurate Celestia and Cadence. I also hope I get more ponies in general. Preferably the non-brushable kind so they match the set. Also it's kind of hard to fix brushable hair when it's the wrong color. I have no access to or experience with doll hair.
