Ha! Elf on the tree in the forest is always a good! His eyes are quite piercing the viewer, and as Elysianna & annamare wrote, the light sparks add to the atmosphere.
He better be careful though, bark of fallen trees tends to become a very slippery place with all the wet moss and lichen.
