Doesn't understand human relationships very well or human society very well due to being forced into a nocturnal routine due to the weakness to light. But they are interested in humans and want to be "accepted" (they want to be accepted by humans and their society, they yearn to be a part of something) they don't understand that they want to be normal in a sense.
