That is absolutely gorgeous! I do the exact same thing as the lovely otter keeper when I have a cold, but unfortunately I have no little otter standing by to comfort me haha! Nevertheless, I really appreciate your art style, and your colour scheme too. -And my favourite parts are the rug and the kettle! - Very rustic ^.^
For some reason (even though your work bears only a very small resemblance) - it reminds me of Shaun Tan. Do you know of this illustrator?

hehe yeah , i think it's a virus though !! such a pain , ive been ill for weeks and in the last 6 days ive developed a constant ringing in my left ear ... i wish i had a real otter to occupy me and take my attention off it !

I was wondering, are you an illustrator? I mean, as a stable work? I was wondering because I don't know it for sure, but I bet if you weren't, publishers would queue up to have you under their wing

I've had work for the last year for an american magazine called cowboys and indians. it's payed REALLY well and i love it. but apart from that i have no other work and no other offers ( i have a few portfolio sites)
so i guess i can't really class myself as a freelance proffessional with only one customer!
i have a boring office job too ( although i could just about live of the american job if i really had to )
im kinda saving the money to hopefully do something with otter
i want to maybe publish something otter related myself ... but i still think i'm learning, both how to draw and about otters personality, i'm not quite ready yet

I'm asking because I'm in the process of making a portfolio of mine, and I'm sending stuff to show myself around, to say so. And just a few minutes ago, I received a reply to an email from an indipendent magazine of my town that accepted me as cartoonist. Weeee!
In any case, I know I never told you and saying it now sounds somewhat weird, but I see you as kind of a "master", for I really love your style, and I hope to learn as much as possible from your works. Keep at it!

Sure thing! And, that's some kind of news magazine, so I don't think I'll have the chance to draw otters much
