Many Zelda fans, myself included, were excited to do this in Breath of the Wild! It helps you go downhills faster. To do it on Wii U: first shield with ZL, then jump with X, followed by hitting A and Link leaps onto his shield! Be warned, your shields take durability damage when shield surfing and will break. But the higher the durability, the longer it'll take. Whic is why I'm using the Hylian Shield. By the way, little beta trivia for ya, in Twilight Princess, for the snowboarding to SnowPeak Ruins, Link was originally going to use his shield instead of an icy leaf!All rights belong too Nintendo.
