*EDIT* Tried to fix a few things and added the red horns to help draw the viewer to his head a bit better. Let me know what you think!This was supposed to be a speedpainting but I took it as an opportunity to practice painting a proper background!
Compositionally I think this is astronomically boring and cliche' but that's why I am asking for critique! I didn't pre-plan this (because I didn't plan it to turn into a full picture) and I know that's a major fall-back for the final result. Please fire away any ideas/ suggestions and opinions. I'm willing to work on this further. I was going to add a frustrated knight in the bottom left, looking up, but thought better of it.

I'm so envious right now, because that background is just stunningly beautiful with the dark enviroment along with those white mountains in the distance, incredible beautiful! I just love all the textures and brushes you have used in this painting!
I'm also in love with the design of that dragon, it looks so original with that skull-looking head along with its' slender body. It is really gorgeous with all its' colours! I really love the combination of green, yellow and orange on that dragon, looks fantastic!
I'm just in awe, I'm so in love with that background at this moment

Wow, this is a very impressive painting! I love the dynamic feel in it, the vibrant colours and the epic landscape is contrasting so well against the sleek green body of the dragon. Beautiful work

Fantastic work as always! I fell in love with the background, and now I feel even more noob than usually (if it's possible) when looking at your artwork.
People have already said the things I was conserned about: the left wing, the left front leg, yadda yadda..
But what I noticed, too, was that the left rear(?)(/back) leg looks awkwardly thin compared to the other one. Also I'd like to see even a lil bit of the tongue. Dunno why, I just find it better-looking that way if the dragon is all ROAR etc etc. But you decide what looks good, I'm just giving my point of view : ) Sorry for bad english, too XD

As for a critique, there isn't much that I can point out other than that the dragon's left hand (The one closest to us) and the wing (on the same side) look a bit off. I'm not sure if the hand is resting on the rock or it's actually being lifted, so maybe arrange the placement of it's fingers. As for the wing, it looks like it's missing a joint, and is straight, while in the right wing, you exhibit it folding. Possibly add a joint in the left wing, which would also show it's wing further.

Both the things you have pointed out have bugged me for a while - more so the hand though, I wasn't wquite sure what to do with it. Thankyou for the tips! Hopefully I'll be able to update with some changes soon. This wouldn't be half as good without all the crit that's pushed me further - as you see it now is after I've applied some extensive critting x3

Maybe it is the way the dragon is positioned - seems very straight forward. Maybe if you put the dragon in perspective, looking away from us and towards the castle, or changed the color and saturation of his skin (it is very uniformly green) you could imply a stronger sense of space.

This is brilliant work here. I don't have a subscription as such but here's what I think:
The details in this picture is absolutely amazing. Putting much detail in any background can e hard for anyone as drawing or painting backgrounds seems to be many artist's downfall, which isn't a bad thing but you gave your all and it's fantastic. Kudos for you doing one. The dragon itself is wonderful as always.

The dragon itself looks a bit disconnected from the background, as the background is fairly dark, but the dragon is bright. This brightness might be justified by visible sunrays shining on the dragon.
Another problem I see is the dragon's left wing, which simply doesn't look like a wing. The right one is really good, so left one contrasts it even more.
Also, the bright yellow on the wing looks a bit distracting as there are no other yellow elements in the picture. The cream color or the red you have used would possibly work better.
Also, you might want to add some air perspective (bluer/paler stuff in the distance).

For quite a while I was struggling with getting the dragon to fit (a fault of not pre-planning, I think)I'll give the lighting/ sun rays a shot.
The wings I left deliberately 'awkward', lots of popular artists get away with these awful wing structures
I'll get to work on that air perspective right away!
