Mildred Claiborne had been a postmaster on Hera before the war. When the Independents seceded, she was post master for them. After Unification Day, she moved off planet to one of the smaller moons, working again for the Alliance.
Didn’t matter to her who was in charge, she just needed to get post and parcels where they belonged.
