We ventured into the production of our own personal interpretation for 【The Seven Deadly Sins】.
The sixth illustration concerns: 『Acedia 』Latin name for Sloth.
Symbolism:

BADGER SKULL: In the classical iconography, the Badger can represent this vice. How this animal, the slothful consumes much time in sleep, without doing anything. Here is also in the skull version to remind the Vanitas.

OPIUM POPPY (Flower): The common poppy is a symbol that belongs to the greek God Hypnos (god of sleep), this for the sedative properties of the flower. The opium poppy is, as its name indicates, the root source of all opiates. Morphine is the predominant alkaloid found in the varieties of opium poppy plant.

HAIR: Touch the hair is a sign that distracts from any other thought or problem, and grants to mind an instant trip to the gratification of the sensitive pleasure.

BUBBLES: The bubbles are the thoughts, ideas and dreams that are beautiful but they can be fragile and ephemeral as the bubbles.

THE CLOCK: Which always indicates the passage of time.
