I started testing out realism and kind of forgot about manga style, I'm having trouble getting back into it as I like drawing with complexity and lots of detail, not that manga style doesn't it's just very abstracted.

Yes i get that, i am currently working on improving my realistic skills as well. Also my usual manga style becomes more and more realistic.
