I love just the touch of blood on her clothes, really gives an insight to her character in contrast to her pristine clothing and hair. Great!!

I was wondering what image you were using as your avatar and when we'd get to see the whole thing. xD She is stunning!~ What you've been doing with the back lighting is just amazing- it adds so much to the image. Queron: *sees Dante from a distance* Oh! *then hurriedly wipes the blood from her mouth as she does not want a bad impression from anybody, then walks toward him* Hello there, fine young man... What's your name?

Dante: *is shuffling a deck of cards and humming a goth rock tune, until he smells something delicious in the air. He stops and looks over at Queron as she approaches and smiles* Well, 'ello yourself, poppet. *flashes her a large, fanged grin- standing up to greet her and putting his cards away* My name is Dante. . . and what might I call you? *bows slightly, looking up at her*

Queron: *adjusts her shawl and smiles back at him, showing her fangs as well* A pleasure to meet you, dear Dante. Call me Queron... *puts a hand on her hip as she tilts her head to the side, looking directly at him* Do you happen to be a rock star?Β

Dante: *stands up straight and laughs*And you as well, m'lady. Unfortunately, I'm no rock star. Just your average hooligan. *puts his hands in his pockets, noticing her smart attire* And are you some sort of duchess?Β

Queron: Oh.. *laughs, covering her mouth with her mouth lightly* ..Hmm? No, no. I'm not a duchess. *shakes her head, smiling at the man about her height* Well, maybe along that line, an aristocrat perhaps. I came from a noble class. So, where did you come from?

Dante: Oh, pardon, I've never met anyone so fancy. *grins* Me? I come from an attic. . . in a big city quite a ways from here. Where I live. . . 'ardly a royal dwelling, but it's homey. *snorts* And where is it you hail from, m'lady? Some fancy manor, I bet.

Queron: It's fine, really. I got used to it. *gracefully waves her hand dismissively* Just an attic..?*raises an eyebrow, laughing* Kidding aside, that sounds pretty nice. That's correct, dear. I live in one.

Dante: S'right, just an attic. *chuckles* Really? Are you the lady of the house, then? *also raises an eyebrow*

Queron: *nods* Yes, I'm called there as Lady Queron. I've been living there for quite some time now..Β

Dante: I see *grins mischievously* Well, that sounds like quite the set up, you've got there, m'lady. And, uhm, 'ow is it that you maintain living in such a luxurious place of residence, eh? If you'll pardon the intrusion. *stares curiously, still grinning*Β

Queron: *grins back* I have a number of helpers there, well, not ordinary ones. They do have some powers that make them finish their job quite fast..Β

Dante: *looks slightly surprised* Oh, so then they know you're not human, I assume. *snorts*

Queron: Of course they know, silly. *laughs* With my skin and fangs alone, I am sure they already got the idea of what I truly am. *eyes him* .. You're not human, too, I take it?

Dante: Ha! Where I live, pale skin and fangs just means that people think I'm some punk ass, vampire wannabe, teenager. . . but flesh and blood like everyone else. But, no, I'm not human, not fully anyway. I normally don't just go around admitting that, but from one nightmare to another, I think it's alright. *chortles* Heh, not that I think you're a nightmare, m'lady.Β

Queron:Β What would you be exactly, then? A vampire like me or something else?Β *smiles*Β It is a pleasure to know, indeed. *snorts in an unladylike manner* It's fine, I scare away people sometimes, both intentionally and unintentionally..

Dante: So, you're a vamp, eh? That would explain the stale scent of immortality *laughs* No, I'm not a vamp. I'm a demon mutt. Half human, half demon. . . and I scare people away too- most of the time I mean to. *laughs heartily*

Queron: *raises both eyebrows* ...What scent? Do I smell that bad? *isΒ very conscious,Β checks her shawl and dressΒ frantically* Oh, a half-breed? That's impressive. All I ever meet are full-blooded ones. I guess I'm not the only one.. *laughs* The 'perks' of being monsters.. *says sarcastically*

Dante: *snorts* Well, you don't smell bad exactly, I just have a very keen nose. I like the smell, myself. *chuckles* *scoffs, disgusted* Damn pure-bloods! I can't stand 'em! Always so bloody entitled! *his eyes glowing a bright red briefly, before dulling back to normal as he takes a deep breath* Sorry. . . are, uhm, are you a half breed too?Β

Queron: Oh, thank goodness.. *sighs in relief, calms down* *then becomes shocked his sudden outburst* Are you alright, dear? Do you want to talk about it? *places a hand on his shoulder lightly, worried* ... I'm not exactly a half-breed nor a full-blooded one. I've been turned into a vampire, actually. *smiles sadly*

Dante: *sighs, with a tired smile* No. . I'm fine. Just some bad blood with the pure bloods. *laughs softly* Hmm. . . in my world, the ancient vampires were gifted youth and immortality by my kind in exchange for their loyalty. But all the pure blooded vamps died out several centuries ago. All the vamps who are still around now are humans who were turned. . . Are there still pure blooded vamps where you come from?

Queron: *hums in acknowledgment* Your kind must be powerful if that is the case. The vampires seem to bow down to you. It's sad to know the pure blooded ones don't exist there anymore.. Why, yes. They still exist where I come from. A lot of them are still existing, actually. *smiles*

Dante: We're among the most powerful beings in my world. . . some of us anyway *lets his horns grow, since there's no reason to hide them* Really? *looks impressed* That's great! I've only ever heard stories of pure blooded vamps. 'Ow long ago were you turned?

Queron: Are you one of them? *tilts her head to the side* I was turned- hmm.. 51 years ago. That would be when I was 29 years old. *smiles then her face shows curiosity, her hand reaches out to touch one of his horns but retracts, her eyes asking permission*Β

Dante: . . . *remains uncomfortably silent for a moment* I'm not a pure blood- so no. . . I'm not one of them. *stares at the ground, bitterly, doing math in his head* Huh, so that means you're only about five years older than me. . . fancy that. *smiles softly, looking up to notice her hand. His smile grows and he leans his head closer to her* Go ahead, you can touch 'em. I don't mind.

Queron: *laughs softly, amused* Why? Did you think I was a lot older? *smiles at him, then her hand proceeds to touch the horns, her fingers trailing lightly, interested at their form. She draws her attention to his hair now, impressed* You style your hair well. *laughs, the smile never leaving*

Dante: No, actually I thought I was older. . . I'm older than pretty much everyone I've met on the surface. *laughs* *eye twitches slightly at the touch, as his horns are surprisingly sensitive* Thank you. . . can't have it all hanging down in my face when I'm trying to fight. . . Heads up. . . *he says quickly, before two panels on the back of his jacket are ripped open by his giant iridescent black wings, which stretch out and flutter* It takes a lot of my strength to hide these things- and there isn't much of a need right now. . .

Queron: Does it make you feel better to know that you're not the oldest? *jokes and laughs* But I'm not saying I am the oldest, far from it, actually. But nevertheless, you have been living for a very long time. *smiles* That is true. It would be hard to focus on your enemy when you have hair strands all over your face. *chuckles then becomes alert of his reminder* ... Wow. Your wings are very beautiful. *stares in awe at the lovely wings before her* I do appreciate the trust you're giving me. *looks at him, smiling as she gestures to his wings*

Dante: I'm still a fledgling as far as my kind are concerned. It doesn't even feel like I've been alive for that long *laughs* *his wings flutter again at the compliment* Thank you. *chuckles* I wouldn't call it trust, exactly. Like I said, it takes a lot of energy to keep my demonic appendages hidden, I'm more or less trying to reserve my power- since you're not human and there isn't much point in pretending that I am. . . But 80 years is a long time, in human years anyway. That everlasting youth has been kind to you. *chuckles*

Queron: You are more than welcome, dear. I see, you don't need to hide them from me whenever I am around. I am definitely fine with it. *reassures* It must be difficult to use your power just to hide what you truly are. Life can be so cruel.. *sighs, shakes her head* Oh you, stop that. *laughs, slaps his arm playfully. She blushes, resulting from the blood she had taken just a while ago.* Being immortal sure has its benefits.

Dante: Hah! I can't just go around telling people what my greatest weakness is. That would be downright dangerous. *grins* I suppose you must miss the sunlight though- being away from it for so long.

Queron: *narrows her eyes at him, frowning* You are unfair.. *says jokingly* I really do. *smiles sadly* I loved the sunlight, most especially the sunset. It has always been beautiful in my eyes. But then again, this happened.. *points at herself, referring to her current state. She said bitterly*

Dante: *looks at her sadly* Sorry to hear that. . . I really am. . . I only just recently saw the sunlight for the first time. It is pretty breathtaking. . . Now that I've seen it, I wouldn't want to give it up. . .
