Are the wolves connected to the seed as in protectors of the seed because their eyes are also the same type of blue.

I like it. Very nice. The detail, as others have said, is pretty amazing.
I do have a couple little nitpicks, though. First, there's a weird little tangent where the sword seems to be behind the little spiky thing. Not a big deal, but it does look slightly off for some reason.
Second, as much as I love the hot-cold contrast you have going on, it seems weird that her face isn't bluer. It's awfully warm considering the lack of any non-blue light source in the picture.
Overall, though, a really wonderful painting. I know I wouldn't mind seeing more in this series.

The girl had to return to the alien seed because its radiation was infecting everything around it. The radiation caused animals to mutate into blood-thirsty monsters and the surrounding land to grow cold and desolate. The radiation was spreading rapidly and so in order to stop it, the girl had to travel to the seed and destroy it. She was the only one who could do so because her sword was forged from the same material as the seed and thus was the only weapon strong enough to damage it. As she arrived at the very core of the alien seed, a pack of mutated wolves ambushed the girl. She fought desperately, trying to ward the wolves off, but more kept coming...
Who knows what will happen next?
